I totally set up my girlfriend/fiancee (Mariella)on Sunday night.
I told her that I was at a car show at the Warden Power Center and that most of my day would be taken up there and I would pick her up later in the evening to go to her girlfriends get-together (she didn't know that her girlfriend(Katherine) was in on the surprise).
I left the car show around 3 , ripped outta Scarborough and headed straight to Missisauga to set up the surprise. Katherine and I with the help of her husband set up the food and what not (since I was starving lol) for the evening while waiting for the "magic" time to make a certain phone call. I called Mariella up telling her that I had car problems and that I would have to limp the car home and borrow my sisters or fathers car and meet her at her girlfriends. She complained and bitched about it ( I felt kinda bad but hey , all part of the surprise) but finally agreed saying she'd meet us there.
I asked Katherine to sit her down in a certain chair that was stratigically placed away from where I was supposed to be hiding.
Mariella finally came, and was directed to sit in that particular chair, Katherine had mentioned to her that she had to go downstairs to grab a video that she wanted Mariella to see. Mariella just sat there watching t.v when it was my cue to come in. So I walked into the room said hello, and she just stood there with this looks like WTF?? :huh
I instantly dropped to my knee asked her to "marry me" , she said yes, and thats the end of my happy story :dancingb
