Question: If your close friend had issues with someone (and it has nothing to do with you nor do you know them - just what your friend told ya), does that mean you have to have beef with them too?

I love and respect my close friends and would neva get involved in their business - but.. if you hurt me or mine, then I have to step in and speak my 3 cents.. Am I wrong?

I think my tongue is gonna bleed from the biting :angered
 
well sophia im sure ur friend can defend him/her self very well unless if its like this...

if it was mine friend i would let him or her handle their own situation i would not get in their fight or arguement whatever now if i see that someone else is gonna step in and do something to my friend u best believe that im gonna get in now and defend my friend to fullest cuz im always ready and willing to kick some ass!! :mad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that i dont play that shit

but like i said sophia i would not get into it i would just mind my biz and let the friend handle their own unless it came to the point to what i said cuz im sure ur friend is grown up and not be taken for a sucker :nono
 
The "issue" had nothing to do with me, so why get involved. Getting involved means causing trouble for myself. Why would I do that nor want that? Because it's my friend? My friend would have to handle their own. One thing doesn't have to do with the other. 😉
 
You don’t have get involved with your friends issues, but be there for support. It’s like you’re in your friend’s corner coaching, telling them to watch out for this or for that, but not getting in the fight. It was your friend that got in the issue without your help, let your friend get out of it, that’s the only he/she will learn something from it.
 
It depends. To me......if you want me to be down like that with you, we got to be really close. We have to be like blood brothers.

But if it were only a friend I just hang out with or to have a good time with.....hell nah! Not worth my energy.
 
You can be angry about the situation, and stand by your friend and support them, but you really don't have issues with some stranger, just because they did something to upset your friend.
 
it def depends on the situation:
if she's only xchaning words, ok- I'm there to make sure all is cool. If I see it's more than 1 and he's on her own, I'm in-

if I see her throw the 1st blow, I'm there to grab her to back off. I've done it once and I have no probs doing it again.

but when one xchanges words it's just barking to me.

Being in the middle like that gets hard, but just because your friend has beef with that person doesnt mean you cant be cool with that them. Just dont really take sides, and dont get caught up in any drama.
 
Thanks for the replies.. I think when the time is right I will let myself loose..

Sometimes people need to watch what they say and of course to whom they are saying it.. I am not one to get into to people's biz (because I just don't give a f*ck), but when a friend who is like a sister is getting spoken of in a bad regard, I won't stand by and watch it..

No hair pulling or wrestling LOL We handle ourselves differently where I come from :biggrin

Im usually VERY overprotective of my friends, so unless that other person is in no interest to me as a friend, i will take my friend's side.

Sometimes its good when your friend gets involved with your situations b/c if my bestfriend didn't get involved with my situation who knows where i'd be right now...the reason why i say this is b/c sometimes you dont see when your in trouble im glad she had my back 100%
 
If thats my real friend then of course I got there back 100%....If they did need me to step in of course.....
