I'm going crazy, my computer got fu*ked up i don't know what happened 2 it, so now i can't use it, the only time i can use a computer is when i'm in school, and this is my last week, i have 3 weeks off and i won't have a computer for 3 weeks
what am i going 2 do
i need some one 2 check it out

i don't know what happenedand i'm trying 2 find my friend 2 c if he can check it out but i lost his # so now i'm fu*ked :sosad
 
Maci? Did your modem flake out on you maybe? Call AOHELL...they will go thru some steps with you. Could be just a configuration problem. Good luck! 🙂

If Your Ip Addy Is Pinging Correctly With Your Internet Provider, Then You'll Have To Take Your Comp To A Technician, Or You Could Just Try Re-formatting It With Windows-xp Or Something First.
 
DON'T REFORMAT UNLESS NECESSARY! Call the tech support people for AOL or your cable/dsl provider first!
 
i have cable and i did all that stuff they tell u to do, so i think my bro downloaded something that fu*ked it up or took some thing out thats why i was someone 2 check it out but i want 2 see if my friend helps me cuz i don't have the money 2 take it some where else right now
 
Yeah, See If Your Pinging Right First, Then If You Have To Take It To A Technician, Let Them Reformat It!
 
You could try by turning off your modem and your computer, for about 5 mins. Then put your computer on then your modem. Let all the lights go on the modem before you go online.

Try it let me know.
 
You may be missing a driver for the modem. Get their tech support back on the phone and tell them you did what they normally tell you to do but that it's still not working. There are other things they can do to find the problem. Whether they can fix it or not depends on what they find.

REMEMBER WHEN YOU REFORMAT...YOU LOSE EVERYTHING unless it's backed up on discs.
 
use the system restore disk. then it will be fine. you will lose what is stored but at least u can go online again.
 
you have to make one if your pc didnt come w/it. if ya want i can bring one that i have for u to nya's show tomorrow.
 
ok. will bring it. then u will just have to update windows to whatever version disk u have. cause the recovery disk is a 98 version.
