Gioia's new interview in the Freestyle Buddy!!!

I thought Lil Suzy sang "From The Inside?"

You're sort of right. Actually, about 2 years ago Gioia teamed up with Adam Marrano to write a song. "From The Inside" was born. She recorded a demo of it and held off on releasing it as she was still promoting "Free To Be". In that time, Adam had Lil' Suzy record the song as a demo but it just wasn't right. Gioia had been performing it at her live shows and based on fan reaction she went back into the studio, re-wrote most of it, added new lyrics and a whole new monster track was born. Since then she's received remixes from over 12 remixers including Grammy winner E-Smoove, the legendary Junior Vasquez, Twisted Dee, and many many others. We've been on pins and needles to release this song because news of the song and remixers spread like fire. Unfortunately, due to production schedules and other side-projects Gioia hasn't been able to release it just yet...but it's still very much in the works.

So yes, Lil' Suzy did sing it but it's definately Gioia's song. Lil' Suzy is a great artist on her own and deserves her props but when you hear the song and see Gioia perform it, you'll know why it was meant for her.
