The Announcement came December 6, 2002. GioiaBruno.com has just been chosen to receive the Diamond Award (The Most Prestigious Award!) from the myGayWeb Web Awards.
Review of the site states:

Official website of Gioia Bruno - Formerly of the group Expose. Very gay friendly with great forums and message board. Gioia has been playing many gay venues and pride festivals and has a club song out called "Free To Be" which was the first Gay and Lesbian Prom Theme last year in Long Island.
The criteria for award consideration follows:
All myGayWeb Awards are only presented to websites that:
"provide useful information to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community, are easy to navigate, load fast on dial-up, are non-prejudice, are esthetically pleasing and avoid frontal nudity.
