yes I use Acid (the old 1.0 I need a serious upgrade just lazy LOL)and now recently got into cakewalk club tracks which has fruity loops and I'm starting to get familiar. Both are hot! for creating and remixing!😛
I've been using Fruity 3.0 and its off the hook! My only problem is most of the samples are better for techno trance etc.. a lot of the classic freestyle sounds are hard to get with the included samples.
fruity loops is good for creating loops and drum beats but if you want to get serious get a program like logic audio or cubase...the editing and programming options make for much easier production
I have used Mixman and Acid Pro 3.0 to make some freestyle tracks. Samples are hard to get a hold of to use with freestyle music, but i have created loops on my synths and used them with Acid Pro. If you wanna check out some of it go to my site at www.mp3.com/3fromoc I'll be adding a few more songs before long so check back often.
