Sept 17 Freestyle Music Cruise with No Freestyle?

Just heard yet another artist was dropped from the Freestyle Mexico Cruise on 9/17? Ok who is really going to be there? The people behind this fiasco (Connie) has some explaining to do especially to the people who has already purchased their tickets. These are the ones I feel bad for because they are not getting what they paid for when they see people who are supposed to be there one by one being dropped.
My advice to you call Connie and if you are lucky enough to get her on the phone ask her what the f**k is going on? Who is actually going to be there? At this rate you will need to bring your IPOD to get your freestyle fix if you are on board.
This is what happens when people who know nothing about promoting and booking events have a great idea but have no clue how to execute it. Like I always say learn from people like Sal who is also doing a freetstyle cruise on 9/3. You can bet your last dollar Sal's shit will be done correctly. He wont have 3 different flyers with 3 sets of artsist who were supposed to be performing and who got dropped! I have not seen the latest flyer but who is on it now? And how many will actually be on the ship?
I am writing this because I care about the fans and the music and like I said this was a great idea and could be a wonderful experience but the fans deserve to get what they paid for. If you paid your money to see your favorite artist and they are dropped you have every right to an explanation! I will be honest when I was called about this show I was called by a person who was helping Connie. My manager and Connie spoke about pricing and she agreed on my fee. A contract was drawn up and sent to Connie as well as photos for the flyer. At the time they had only 1 flyer for the show out and it was Giggles. We were told that Giggles was dropped and they we recruiting other artist. A few weeks go by and my manager called Connie to follow up on the contract. Connie never returned her calls. She sent emails and made more phone calles and kept being assured that Connie was very busy but would be in touch and she is working in a new flyer with my picture. My manager was getting a little tired of the run around and one day she logged into myspace and noticed a new flyer had been put out without my picture. I was dropped and was never even told! Needless to say we demanded to get Connie on the phone but she refused to take our phone calls. Instead we exchanged words on face book which only made her look worst for her lack of profressionalism, common courtesy and knowledge of what the hell she was doing! After that we were told that J C Entertainment had become the booking agent and I spoke to Jaquan who had no knowledge of me being booked by Connie. Jay tried to get us back on the cruise but by this time we were disgusted with the whole situation and kindly declined the offer. Word is now that J C Entertainment will not be on the cruise either!
Friends I am sorry you have to deal with such incompetence. If you are going on this cruise I hope you have a safe wonderful trip. I just wanted to let you know what was going on and why you may not see some of the artist you think were booked.
