It was always mickey garcia and the team of producers ,engineers etc from elvin molina, mac quayle, charlie rock jimenez, charlie baby rosario and the original micmac artist: exo, body n style, rios sisters, exo, etc that made micmac what it was (before the label over exploited itself and fell in the hands of others.

each label in freestyles history had its time frame and place.

the one true originators of the whole freestyle/latin hiphop movement were that of Cutting records, but above all FEVER.
If it wasnt for Fever and the stronghold and family vibe that people like andy panda, tony moran albert cabrera, safire, jellybean and people like Lewis martinee (expose and many others) in miami, there wouldnt be several waves of freestyle movements out of both new york and miami.

nayobe's "please dont go" was along side others the first latinhiphop record ..........but the first lady of freestyle is that of Jenny burton.her vocals on "remeber what you like" and "one more shot" always withheld the test of time.

like all early freestyle records that rose out of electro funk, they are considered both as freestyle and electro funk. even today cutting edge trends...electro breaks to some extent is also called nu-freestyle.they are both freestyle and breaks.

Although some FANS consider these records to be freestyle or not...
The industry, Pioneers, historians, and "real" Purist all consider them FREESTYLE and the blueprints and prototypes for waves of freestyle that would follow in the next 21 years.

wether its a classic like"i remember what you like", "cheap thrills", "woman" or todays "precious lil fantasy", "close my eyes"
or indias "seduceme", its all freestyle in its difenerent time periods.

as far as bringing things back.........there would never be the same mic mac as ther once was. a new wave of legends, we have yet to see .
but lots of leg breaking for all (remember cant wish anyone good luck as it is bad luck).

Its intersting when it comes to Stevie B......he really was never a part of a FREESTYLE label.....(atleast to my knowledge)....and still his music was good.......ahh the good old days of freestyle......But agree, without Mic Mac, Fever, and Cutting......Freestyle would not be!!
