Freestyle vs. Rap

I just wanted to find out what people preffered- Freestyle is really cool to bump because it deals with love and other possitive things- on the other hand, rap has cool beats also but if you have young children or younger brothers or sisters, you might think twice about bumping it in the car because of the sometimes bad or dirty language- What do u think about RAP VS. FREESTYLE?

im an old school rap person...i dont care what words are used...if people get offended they should learn to lighten up......i listen to so many different types of music that its hard to pick one fav.......ok maybe it isnt cause its freestyle...but still....the only rap that ill really get into isi the older stuff..say from before 1994ish

It's really hard for me to find Rap that I do like these days. One of the very few that I like right now is the "Behind The Wall" song by Kurupt. I got into Rap music cause I had to spin it as I DJ. The one song I remember that I couldn't get enough of was "Pistolgrip Pump" by Volume 10. That song was and still is the shizz.

I love freestyle, but theres always that part of me that loves rap too..it depends what im in the mood for. I love old school rap, like Down w/ the king, ghetto boys-my mind is playing tricks on me, tim dog, nwa, heavy d, old ll cool j stuff, and i know you all remember 2 of my favorites...Bizmarkie - Just a Friend and Candyman - Knockin da boots...those are classic!!!

I don't like the rap that is out now. There is too much cursing in it, so when it's played on the radio that that to totally bleep out practically the whole song & who wants to hear that. The older stuff was much better "Slick Rick" but nothing beats Freestyle.

Hiya everyone! Heyyyyy Liz is that you giRL!?? Welcome to the new board *hugs* How are you doing? Anyways I like this question!! I guess before freestyle I was an official old school rap lover. I love old school rap...it always brings a smile to my face and makes me laugh cuz some of the old school rap was funny:O) Freestyle has my heart and I love it...but some old school rap songs are a very close tie with freestyle songs I love. But freestyle is still the bomb......It just needs some people to light the fuse so it can get blown up........
