Here's da deal,

I wanna know if here are any voices out there that DON'T sound like anyone.
I have the upmost respect for the women I am about to mention, & they are ALL unique, but they sound very much alike at times.

Like, Safire & Laura Enea. They're each unique , but sound very much alike.

India & Chrissy I-eece. Again each is different, yet sounds alike like the other.
In this case, they even once looked alike!

Betty from "SS" (Sweet Sensation), & Rochelle "Praying For An Angel", I thought sounded alike at times.

I wanna know who else do u think has "sound-alikes", & who does not.

I Think Gioia (of Expose'), has a voice that I have never heard anyone sound like at all.

I think it has something to do with the TIMES, don't ever other rapper now sound like Ja-Rule? and wasn't there a time when fools sounded like our bay area hip-hop hero, pac?

Nyasia has a unique voice to me and so does Nick Colon! :yeey

I haven't heard any other singers that sound like they do! 😉

lol@Anthony

Yeah, Nyasia is different also. Can't think of any sound-alikes.

Also, I have heard some Judy Torres "sound-alikes to. I know 2 different ones, but forget da names.
The 3rd one, im not sure who the vocalist was, but it was that Freestyle jam "Heart & Soul" by Liason.
A PHAT-A$$ Freestyle jam!
: )

Cynthia & Madonna sound exactly alike at times. They have almost the same exact voice tone just different styles. But both are dope & madd sexy! But Cynthia just does it for me much more so.

Safire & Stephanie Mills kinda sound the same too.

But in freestyle specifically:

the front man for Voyce & Coro
Lydia Lee Love & Lil' Suzy
Lisa Lisa & Lisette
George LaMond & Luis Damon

There's a lot of people that sound kinda similar to each other. They might sing exactly the same but it's like they got the same voices.

Whoah!
I agree with u on da guys, BUT NOT da girls.
Lydia Lee Love & Lil' Suzy have the same tones, ....but Lydia is waaay stronger, & fuller-voiced than 'Suzy.

Lisa Lisa & Lisette have similarities, ..... but do not sound alike at all.
I just dont hear Lisa Lisa's voice on "Together Forever" nor Lisettes's voice on "I Wonder If I take U home". ......totally different.

"Together Forever" was Lisette's first album. A lot of people change a lot after their first cd. I don't hear Lisa Lisa in "Together Forever" either. But Lisette made a drastic change between "Together Foerver" and "True To Life". If you read any of her bios, she says LL had a big influence on her. If you listen to "True To Life" or more so, "Imagination", you hear it.

MARK,

I have all of Lisette's CD's, & know her bio, & know about her influence of Lisa Lisa, etc, ....but I still dont hear it. BUT YOU ARE RIGHT, .....she did grow a lil' more vocally by "True To Life", & even more by her Salsa album.

I think Abby Lynn has a unique voice.

MARKLLUVSCYNTHIA: I agree with George Lamond & Luis Damon , and I would add George Anthony to that list.

Safire and Stephanie Mills, I don't see it though, Stephanie is too nasally.

Lydia & Lil Suzy not by a long shot, but I would say Lydia Lee and Judy.

Suzanne does have a unique voice.
