True that Albert and I are working in a totally different field, but once you achieve a little success you have to continue that same style to keep the momentum. I haven't forgotten my roots nor do I intend to.

I am really shocked more people do not have any selections from Lisa Lisa on their list. And Silent Morning is one of the greatest freestyle songs ever, where is that you guys?

My list in no particular order is below:

To be honest they are ALL good, but some tracks do stand above the rest. For example I am making my pics based on pure production value and sound in a club enviroment. For example, my club back "in the day" 4D, the site where Club Exit is at currently had the best sound system PERIOD. We opened in 1986, the Palladium had the best system before us, our systems were both designed by Richard Long.

Anyhow the Palladium system got all fucked because DJ's who roiginally played there would blow up drivers left and right and the owners got tired of always having to recone them so they stopped. Thats when the system starting to go downhill.

However we at 4D always kept up with maintainance and always added to the system in order to make it better.

I will never forget to this day when I got Safire's Let me be the One test pressing and I played it...WOW !!! Those boys at Cutting where on the mark. But then again Cutting knew how to put out good stuff.

Anyhow, that Safire track and a close second was I Burn by Marshall Jones were the toughest hitting best bass in you face dance tracks that ever came out IMO for simply club play.

Now keep in mind I am saying this because I played these tracks with the help of 10 Richard Long 18" double Bertha stacks. If you know what those are you know what I mean...!!! WoW to day the least.

A good freestyle track is 1000% better on a good system...

Thank you Tony! Once again, I really appreciate all the support. I agree with the sound system at Palladium. It was so incredible. One of the few places/venues where I was able to listen to myself on stage. I'm sure many artist who had the pleasure of performing there would have to agree. As for Cutting production, they were meticulous and on point. I really enjoyed my years there. It was both hard work and an honor. Not only did they put they're heart in soul into it, but they always got the best people involved on the production end.

I hear ya...but I will gladly admit that I am too a fan of yourself and all others. I am grounded to the point that without you guys we are simply out of a job.

Being the best is tough, but as I said like the Cutting crew as you know...hard work and excellence at your trade makes for some magic and allows for songs that stand the test of time.

If is a tough business and I will admit that I am very critial of others especially myself. As a listener, I expect to be entertained and come away with an experience that is nothing but "feel good all over". I try to provide the best experience to my listeners and fans and give it my all constantly.

Simply put I remember where I came from and remembered that without good consistant product and loyal fans, quite frankly you better "keep your day job" so to speak.
