Oh yeah, when people ask what changes might help freestyle, I think good rap in it, not cheesy could help get it back into the mainstream being that radio today (outside of NYC) only wants to play hip hop and R&B these days. Has to be done right though. I personally love my freestyle without rap, but some sounds good, and it might help appeal to some of the other crowd.

Freestyle is freestyle and it doesn't need any cheesy rap in it to help it make it in the mainstream. This is freestyle, not rap. There is a difference between the two and when cheesy rap is added , it makes the music sound desperate too obtain attention. Freestyle doesn't need rap to make it more mainstream. Otherwise it's not freestyle.

The rap parts arent that bad..It just depends on the song and how you rap in it..Maria by TKA..Wasnt bad...Kayel can rap man! Go TKAAAAA!..But anyhows😀 ....Freestyle sounds good with or without it....

Hey has anyone heard "Quiero seguir bailando" by Proyecto Uno (remix) where it goes from latin house to freestyle, and the guy starts rapping. That is such a great part of any song. That really gets be pumped.

I like the rap parts of the song, but only if they sound good.
Cause some of these singers can sing..but they can't rap worth crap! But there are song out there that do sound good with rap lyrics in them. But those rap lyrics can just kill the entire song if it sounds cheesy!
