good for you Chuck!! sounds like you had a great time! so much for retirement!!! :lol

lmao!!!!

Well, I can't go to the shows as frequenly as I used to, and I have ear plugs to wear now when I go.

The ringing in my ears has reduced, but it is still there. I think it is something I'm always going to have to deal with.

Hello everyone!! On behalf of myself and Kenny Guido, I would like to thank all my old friends that I reunited with Friday night. Talking to old friends like Brenda K Starr, Jade of Pretty Poison, Betty of SWEET SENSATION, George, lisa lisa & gioia made me feel great coming back to this industry again.

On a down note, I was very, very disappointed at the turnout from members, especially on the sites. I hope many of you had a great time not attending this show, considering that many of you always say that there are the same acts over and over again and this show had some never before seen acts or rare acts. you would think that this would be enough to get people to come out but I guess not.

Again, it was worth the trip seeing old friends like Chuck D, ED, & Scot. Im glad you guys came out to support.

So so sorry I couldn't be there! *hangs head in shame*

I rarely post - but let me tell you - Friday night's show was "More Than Words Can Say".. I happened to be in the cold north this weekend and decided that I needed to check out the show - MUCH MUCH MUCH thanks to Kenny Guido, Diane, Chuck, DAN (long time no talk *hugz*) and Scot who were just absolute dolls!!!! It was such a great night!

Also, much thanks need to go out to those who attended the Dancin' On Air / Dance Party USA Tsunami benefit in Philly this weekend. Your support was just amazing!! Also special thanks to George Lamond and his management for a phenomenal performance as well as Joe Zangie, Pain, Alisha, Scot & Edwin Ramos whose efforts helped make it a great success!! I just can't say how much we appreciate it.

All the best,
~Aly

I cant believe I missed Chuck D's debut performance!!!! Sounds like we missed a great show. I was looking forward to seeing Stevie B and Betty Dee but I was unable to make it, my grandmother passed that evening.

Thank you Chuck. But I definately will make a point to make it to any future performances of yours.

ayudame porfavor

guys, I'm sorry, but I'm confused on how to make a new thread. I've been looking though this website for almost two hours. lol. Can u please help me? I'm sorry I had to put this request here and interrupt this thread.

Hello Ydania.

Just select the forum you want the thead to be in from the drop down menu where it says "Forum Jump" under the "quick reply" box.

then when the forum appears, at the top of the forum, you should see a button that says "New Thread". Just click that, type in a subject, adn you are ready to go.

GIOIA WAS THERE, TOO?!?!? 😱 Aw man, I never saw her... 🙁

Its going to be awhile yet before I get my pics up -- re-sizing is a rhymes-with-witch on my POS comp -- for now, here's the Photobucket page with the full-size ones:

Like I said in another thread, never again turning the camera sideways for a vertical shot -- ALL of those came out wide-right!

(The shirt and towel pics I had promised Betty a week and a half ago, when she mentioned Journey... 😱)
