I'd love to see Freestyle vocals over Reggaeton beats.... Not necessarily a mash-up of classics on top of reggaeton beats... I mean like new Reggaeton songs coming out in English with Freestyle type vocals...

I think thats a route freestyle should look into- think about it- Reggaeton is the voice of latinos today as freestyle was back in the late 80s. Reggaetons melodys and beats would work great with freestyle melodies. Im not latin but i see more Reggaeton songs falling into my sets (i dj)...The genre is crossing borders and has been blowing up. Plus the bpms is slower so it appeals to the youngins today rather than the faster songs of yesteryear....

Great idea. I like what Huey Dunbar did with "Spring Love". What ever happened to Lisette Melendez's "Cupid"?
 
well i think that in recent years regaetion has gotten more
popular...
...i think k7 tried to blend his freestyle music w/reggae
just a bit when he came out w/swing batta swing cd..

...but i guess he was just ahead of the game then..

..now its popular..soooo it shall be interesting to see
what everyone thinks of his new material?

I never heard the Huey Dunbar song until now...thanks for putting me onto it. This is exactly what I was talking about. Although the production could have been a little better, it still works


I shall drop this, this week..im sure it will go off well...

WHAT ABOUT K7'S DUET WITH IVY QUEEN (THINK THATS THE NAME) THAT IS AN AWSOME TRACK
 
K7 with Ivy is called "Dile" and yes the song is defenitly a Hot song K7 really smooth it up. The Huey Dumbar song is hot, but if Luny Tunes would've done the track, It would've been much better.
 
Luny Tunes productions are just running Reggaeton
