safire's brother, angel, used to perform with &more, also. he played guitar. angel left then ABY (TKA) joined &MORE.

nocera was very good friends with safire, too. she wrote one of safires songs.

RHOQ, i still cant find an accent in her songs! although i clearly hear it when i spoke to her.
 
Nocera's Italian accent doesn't bother me....
I like it!! .....It's that sometimes her voice has a "low-sqeaky" sound, ...that it makes it hard for me to understand some of her lyrics.

But I still love that girl, ...& I have her records. ...I'm looking forward to get her new CD with her new group: "Voice Of The Sattellites".

If all these peeps were part of "& MORE"...why did only "Willie" appear on all the pics???

really, i have no clue. i guess its like how the performers that travel with &MORE now dont get exposure as well.
 
Kenny I think it's because &More is a solo performer he's not in a group. It's not &More and the so so just &more.

oh, i know, naya. people were just wondering why others didnt get exposure. i had no idea why. i guess not saying they were just part of his group sounded like he never had them there to begin with.

&more keeps it real with his live band! it kicks ass!

i got a live show of "& more" with his band performing at some club. in it they perform the then new "you'll never find another love" and a demo version of "materialistic girl"...it's a blast to watch! and this is from 1988!

Nocera is hardcore Italian!

She literally came here straight outta Italy without knowing much English. But we all know she's worked her way up! Thas why u hear her lil' accent.

When I was younger, I used to swear she was Puerto Rican,...but I was wrong.

Although she is not Latino, ...she is still "Latin".

It's almost the same deal with "Gioia" from Expose', ....except she came here as a baby, ...so there's no accent. But she still speaks fluent Italian!

KENNY C.'S "I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT".....I really can't stand it. It is the worst freestyle song of all time. It is boring, yet it appears on several freestyle compilations....YUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
😀 I like the song "SummerTime SummerTime" by Nocera, that song got major play at our skating rink lol, but it's all good......"take me take me to the warmth of summertime summertime, maybe we can fall in love, summertime summertime", somebody sing it for me lol, I'm not at home with my cds!

And even though I got confused as hell when I first heard it (I was thinking is that Lil Suzy?), I have to admit that I like "Take Me In Your Arms Again" by Lil Johanna. She's singing back up with Pajama Party (another freestyle group I want to see lol) now, right?

Somebody should start a thread, who sings back-up on the freestyle songs we love, I have some I want answers to!!

does anyone remember that song "tears shed".i don't remember who sang it(was it MKG??). anyway...i used to love that song...the beat was phat and the melody was mad catchy. but that girl singing...ugh. she sounded like she needed a plunger down her throat. with her flat ass voice and barely keeping up with the beat. but again...i loved the song...lol.
 
Now that I think about it(now that I'm older and wiser), I must admit, Nice & Wild-Diamond Girl was a good song, but I do think the song lacked some effort in the beat. Great song, could have been better though.

There is this one song I can't stand everytime I hear...I think the Title is called "Girl, Why Did You" 😱 Hmmmm....The name of the artist is on the tip of my tongue...I think it starts with and E...Where is Benny when I need him to answer my question LOL 😀

MKG is Michael Kidd Gomez which is just the producer, the artists who did the song was call EMERY. He also did a song which confuse the hell out of me when I heard it "You can't fight Love" feat. Sebastian on the background that girl is Divina which I thought was EMERY also for the vocal similiarity.
Safire did vocals for Sam Savon aka Samuel on "Open Your EYES" on Cutting Records.

BTW If you guys saw the original picture of & More with his group they look like they just came out of Saturday Night Fever the Dance SHow...Willie was so skinny then....LOL...And Kenny is right Aby did join him when he release "Materialistic Girl". The song I don't like from Willie (Sorry Will I told you I didn't like it) was and is "Soul on Fire"....
