whatever sells is whats on their minds fernando. so they wouldnt mind bringing played out shit if thats what it takes. no one cares about rare freestyle songs accept the people who take freestyle seriously. but i wish they would at least ponder about it.

Fernando, I agree with Orgntr1. I have thought about releasing a cd like this, but no record company will support it. It won't sell. There are a few songs on there that I don't even know. The only people that will buy it are the people on this site. And I bet half the people on this site wouldn't even buy it.

But it is a great selection !

YOU'RE PROBABLY RIGHT. PEOPLE WOULD PROBABLY BURN IT FROM FRIENDS INSTEAD OF PURCHASING IT. THAT'S SAD BUT THAT IS TECHNOLOGY THESE DAYS. PERSONALLY, I WOULD PURCHASE IT B/C I KNOW THAT GETTING BUYERS WILL BE TOUGH. I BURN CDS, SO I'M NOT BAD MOUTHING ANYONE.
 
if a company would put that on a real CD, i would defintly buy it myself! i would love to have those songs in cd quality. its true that prolly da only ones that would buy it are da hardcore fans but .. i have friends that listens to freestyle that dont usually hear those rare stuff except mebbe in mix tapes before .. and i would let them hear those type of songs and they would love it!!!!

so im sure there are alot of freestyle fans out there that would love hearin those songs but most of the time, those songs are on mixtapes from DJs that most ppl used to listen to back in the days.

so why do companies feel it wouldn't sell??? They release compilations full of newer unknown artists. I don't see the difference from a consumer's end. unknown is unknown.
if they can do it with newer artists they can do it with the older.

that is so true fernando...now i hardly go to the freestyle sections because of that reason!!!!
 
well one thing i would like to see is if they are gonna put those usual type songs on a CD .. at least put different versions or the extended club mix with phat edits on it!!!! i mean the CD is 74min long and usually the Cds are only about 60min at most ... so minus used the rest of the space with 6-10min club mixes 😀
 
there are lots of great rare tracks out there (excluding alot from that list) that not many people have even heard of - therefore i say - THANK GOODNESS FOR BOOTLEGGING! *lol* 😉

I would buy it!

I don't recognize ALL the songs, but I would still buy the cd! I'm willing to give almost ANY song a chance as long as it has a freestyle beat. I just don't personally like techno, etc. versions of songs! I also love the combination of Latin music and freestyle!
