Cynthia ia the queen, her songs are classics and she's still the only one that is staying loyal to her roots. At her show 2 weeks ago, she kept promoting and thanking the crowd for keeping freestyle alive and she's clearly the only one that is still making new stuff.

it dont matter Guido. if say for example Sweet Sensation were to win this, we'd be crowning Sweet Sensation not the 3 hispanic girls in the group. you must also choose one for your vote on one of the candidates for freestyle queen.

its also been a toss up for me as well.......im still debating on Sa-Fire, and Corina. thats why i havent voted yet.

The number of Freestyle artists and songs really snowballed after Micmac started, Cynthia being their biggest artist.
 
Cynthia? Ugh.......Judy Torres called her a freestyle Diva on KTU one Sunday night.....Sorry Judy.....my vote would have to be you....I don't like Cynthia's music or Lil Suzy's......too played out and their voices are annoying.....

Kenny, while Safire was sweet and nice and I enjoyed speaking with her, it was only the first time we'd met. I'm a little partial to Cynthia because we've become friends over the years. It was too hard to pick one, but if I had my choice, I'd crown the following:

Cynthia, Nayobe, Corina, and Safire.

Can't we have several Queens in the Court?

The Queen of Soul
The Godfather of Soul
The Queen of Pop

...all had many songs, many albums, and a lot of fame.

Which makes Cynthia the most qualified for title of Queen. (And Stevie B. for King, for that matter.)

Being played-out even strengthens her qualifications!
 
Hmmmmmm...

I see the choice is definitely between Judy Torres and Cynthia. Well, over the years we have seen both artist grow in the freestyle music industry since their entering freestyle in the 80's. On one hand you have the sweet, sensual, heart warming sound of Cynthia and on the other we have the soulful, strong passionate voice of Judy Torres. Both have come out with outstnading songs and albums. But there is one thing.

Cynthia has been always sticking to freestyle music since her first release aswell as releasing several house and techno versions. Judy has done the same but Judy will not be working with freestyle any longer. She, like others, has decided to move on to another field in music. That's perfectly fine with me as long as she does what she loves to do and that's to sing. Cynthia is already in the works on a new freestyle album and will continue to work in the freestyle industry. Cynthia started out as a good artist and has matured into a great freestyle artist over the years. Album after Album was better and better. Considering the fact that Cynthia will keep pursuing her freestyle interest and will do so for more years to come that makes her the Queen of Freestyle FOR NOW . But she might want to pursue other interest in music just as others have but until then she will be the reigning Queen in my perspective. Only she right now has the qualifications to hold such title and if you don't see it my way I'll kill you...LOL

No but seriously I think the Queen is definitely Cynthia!

if you were to pick a 3 girl group as "QUEEN" dont you think they may be a little mad at who wears the crown? i mean, even the music awards have different catagories (best artist, best group, etc). we should put that into consideration.
 
ER, I know you'd probably say George Lamond. But, Stevie has had more songs, albums, and definitely more success with Freestyle.

I have to say a tie between Judy Torres and Nayobe, all jokes aside here, Nayobe has had a lot of music that people haven't even heard, she has done Salsa also which is Great, move over India, as far as Cynthia goes, she has more songs tehn Judy yes, but her vocals are no where near comparision to Nayobe and Judy!

djmongo1, i see it your way. Cynthia has done alot for The Community. but were just going by votes here. its a project so we can stop asking and start trying to find out more or less through the publics side of view only.
