well up here its sundays between 5-6-the freestyle frenzy...they play in the live to airs from club and occasionally during the day i actually heard 'diamond girl' friday morning

it's 2003, not 1989, so we all know freestyle isn't the most often-heard sounds on the radio, but NJ/NY peeps who listen to KTU can hear freestyle tunes mixed into their daily grind all the time - and I'm not talking about Saturday night's Level I Freestyle Mix or Judy Torres' Sunday Freestyle Show - I mean hearing tunes throughout the day, everyday! Just tonight while writing out some bills (fun!) and listening to the radio for a few, they played Cynthia's "Change on Me" and TKA's "Maria" ... true, you rarely hear Fascination's "Remember," Voyce's "Within My Heart," or Exo's "Why Did You Do It," - but I ALWAYS hear TKA, Cynthia, Cover Girls, Lisette Melendez, etc. on KTU!

yo if you guys wanna talk about freestyle on the radio, just WAIT until you hear what I got lined up for the 11 o'clock hour on Judy's show this coming Sunday night.....let's just say, whens the last time you heard something like Hard II Handle "Passion in the Dark" on the radio? Just an example....30 songs in a hour!!!!

Ok, I know my ass is old (33) but damn, why is JT's show on at 11:00? I mean, it's like it's a secret. I mean, come on... they should be airing it during the daytime because we all know when we're driving down the shore or washing our cars.. it's Freestyle we have blasting to keep us company.

Either way... If I'm not up at that time, I'll be sure to record it.

I posted earlier that KTU in NY regularly plays freestyle throughout the day, throughout the week ... so I figured it would be a moot point to post everytime I hear a freestyle tune - but what the hell, it might be fun ...
