This is awesome, but we need some newer freestyle tunes also. The classics will always be #1 in my heart but gotta make room for that new blood 😉

Wow! freestyle on the radio? I wish we had that here in Arizona... wait, we do! whenever the stations decide to do an old school mix. I'm tired of always hearing the old stuff - I want to hear the new things but that was taken away. No more Natalise, no more Sharyn Maceren, no more "bye bye baby" by Angelina. The radio station d.j. produces a song then he can't continue playing it because the program director decided to change to old school at noon. Now Power 92.3 is really #1 for hip hop & r&b because 12:00 p.m. is old school hip hop and r&b. We have no top 40 station because Kiss F.M. took out their alternative, pop, and dance and left only the hip hop & R&b calling it today's hottest music. 99.3 Arizona's jammin' R&B (energy 92.7's sister station owned by the same people) still plays freestyle, but only the old school freestyle which does not include Angelina, Planet & soul, Rhythmcentric, or Lina Santiago. No more 103.9 the party, so no more M:G. 103.9 was finally bought out by a rock station that was bought out by a spanish station and decided to take the party instead of no longer existing. I'm pretty sure if 103.9 was never bought out it would have reached the guinness book of wold records of reaching the guinness book of world records, for changing formats. They would have probably be at Jazz right now getting ready to suddenly change to opera at 103.9 the party. No matter what they were each time they changed they were either the party, Arizona's party station, or party radio at 103.9. I'll never get over it despite the fact that it was bought out in 2001 and I had just left town when it happened. I guess it doesn't matter. I have my own songs to mix whenever I want and just about done buying back all the c.d.'s I gave away thinking they were old and wouldn't need them anymore. I am currently listening to freestyle here at work right now, the mix I did last night. Fed EX even heard some of it because they stopped by to pick up some things. All the people that got layed off today even heard it. My boss couldn't avoid it because we worked together and I had control of the radio She borrowed from somebody for me to play my c.d. Since we were packing boxes in the main hall all day long and I continuously played my c.d.(s) everybody had to hear it. They didn't know what the songs were, but I guess it's safe to say that this was something new. Some music is appropriate to play at work, some isn't, but it's undecided if freestyle is or isn't appropiate. I guess it's just strange.
