Lamondfan...KTU was doing a Classic Soul weekend last week...thats why they were playing all of that 60's R&B. However, I must admit that I have been bored with KTU lately and have been listening more to other stations like Z100. Im just tired of hearing certain songs over and over again like the ones by Lasgo. They really know how to play a song to death! So I have been listening more to my freestyle cds and other stations. But props to Hot 97 for playing freestyle in their lunch mix. I dont listen to the station because Im not a fan of rap but it's nice to hear that they played freestyle today.

I think KTU is just trying to cater to everyone....

They should've just kept the format they way it was back in 1996/1997 (when they first aired).

They keep experimenting with different shit....better off keepin' it consistent.

radio stations respond to marketing reasrch that they spend millions of dollars on and thats it theres only 2 commerical radio stations in this area that has kept the same format for along time is WCBS fm and WBAB
