Could someone explain to me why, if people or companies have videos & footage available, why don't they just make it available?

Now don't tell me its because of copyright, everyone at least once has broken the copy right law and theres always Ebay or something similar. The fans want stuff like this and what good is it sitting in a draw, cupboard, box, attic, loft etc.

Concert/club tour footage should be made available also (at a cost of course), how much could it cost to pay royalties to the acts. The fans make the artists

How about interviews or short video performances included on album & single releases to boost sales, (someone take note of this idea)

I'm i the only one that thinks & feels this way?
 
Actually the footage I have (most of it) was shot and filmed for a cable station I once moonlighted with that played videos and performances,which in turn I have signed waivers of all the artists I filmed clearing the station of any royalty payments,when the station closed down I was given all the footage as a reward for my hard work,making me the sole owner of such footage.

As to why I have not made it public or for sale,it is simple,I haven't found the proper amount of time to transfer all the footage from beta to digi-video as I wish to do in order to begin editing the footage,we're not talking 2 hours of footage here,more like 500 hours!

Also,I refuse to release or sell anything that bares my name that is done half ass.

just got my first freestyle music dvd from ebay today, its classics of 1989-1992.. i must say WOW videos back then were much better than dance videos of today. those george lamond vids are great, full of dancing. then there's the tacky ones like laissez faire - in paradise, wow those girls are wearing 20lbs makeup and 30lbs lo-budget hairspray for that mile-high frizz look 😱
 
Wow, that "Summertime Summertime" vid is pretty hot. I wish there were more good quality format freestyle vids like this.

Yeah, I know.. But those aren't really good quality. Very poor quality for the Collage video. You could barely see anything, and if you increase the size you just make it worse. Thats what I meant when I said I wish there were more good quality vids like those. "Bad of the heart" and "Summertime Summertime" previosly posted are great. You can full size them and almost no quality loss. Like watchin TV. Thats what Im lookin for, and I really don't think there are too many out there on the net.
