My name is Shannon and i stumbled across this website a while ago and joined never really looking at the content. Im a professional Jamskater for Team Breaksk8.
Some of you might not know it but Freestyle music is played very heavily at skating rinks across the United States. Freestyle music is what we jam to and compete to.
Ive always heard this music while growing up in the skating rinks, and listening to Stevie B, Debbie Deb, Newcleus, and World Class Wrekin Crew. I never knew much about any of this music.
The sport of jamskating has grown so big, about 6 months ago i made a website for all the jamskaters out there who cant find the music to skate to, so i made Sk8music.com for all the skaters out there to get some music. If you get a chance to go to it here is the password and username you can use.
Username: freestyle
Password: music
for more info on jamskating then go to our site at breaksk8.com
I am new to all of this, and dont know about events, and contact information with artist. I find it very fascinating that ive skated to this certain genre of music for so long, and have no idea of its history, artist, or whats going on at the present time.
I am interested in hearing everyones replies about this topic. I hope you enjoy the sk8music website and the breaksk8 website, make sure to tell me what you think about them.
