Well...believe me....that Top 30 countdown isn't a real 'gig' for someone with as much talent as Hollywood. Obviously someone of his stature should have an 'on air jock' position and he still doesn't. Nobody will hire him after what he did. Plus, he doesn't even do the countdown anymore.
 
ur right johnny that countdown was on all diffrent weirdo hours...plus he is no longer with that show!!!! but obviously he had made lots of enimies in the biz for funk master flex to dis him on an on for like 10 mintues...oh well

Oh snap! I remember that. Something about Flex dissing the music ktu was playing in a club or something. But i remember when it was discussed on the radio one night on ktu.
 
well marc this is how i started listening to it...first i hear like a five minute mix of freestyle...like lisette melendez lisa lisa...i thought i was listening to la mega...but then flex is like laughing at the end saying oh look how corney or something like that, i dont remember...then he started with the hollywood thing...how he is whack and the station he worked for was whack...and that hollywood said he was so big that what he said goes...flex went on and on and on it was really unprofessional
 
Since when has Flex been professional on the radio..lol, I remembered that. I think i just caught it after he played the records and whatever he said. I admit, he can do his sh^t on the turntables with his skills, makes my butt look like crap, lol.
 
You go girl! Good for her! I said it before it is up to us to request and buy these songs to get them on the charts and the radio. Alot of writers don't have respect for Pop artists as well but that never hurts their sales or airplay. I like the song and the entire CD. She has a great voice.

i remember one day i was listening to hot 97. flex started talking about some ish like he always does during his show. so he started to tell a story about how he was spinning at a club recently and was approached by some corney chick or something. the girl was like "excuse me sir can u play pump up the jam by technotronic??!" at that point in the story flex started laughing for 5 minutes or so at the fact that someone could request such a lame song in a club. and he went on to say "thats the kind of crap KTgarbage plays." then he went on to make fun of and laugh at "pump up the jam" and ktu for a little while. funny thing was after he was done cracking on KTU i put the station on for whateva reason and yes, "pump up the jam" was on. KTU probably found out what flex said so they played the song...
