As annoying as it was at times...and as repeatitive as it became...

I still miss it 🙁

I miss the Frenzy from the mid 90s. The Frenzy from after the late 90s, I definitely don't miss. LOL

I'll tell you what I really miss though: "Club Freestyle" with Bernie B on the old Power 88.5. Now THAT was a freestyle show!

Never got the chance to hear the Bernie B show 🙁

The Frenzy became a routine on Sundays I was usually driving around at that time so I'd tune in...not the same anymore

waaaaaa

i wonder how much more freestyle would have been released in toronto - had the frenzy never been cancelled

Those clowns over @ 88.5 didn't have the funding to keep the station going, they got bought out by the owner of Z103 which was hot 103.5 back in tha day, and turned into a country station at that time. The freestyle show was great, but it was constantly changing its show time and day to compete with Monaco and the Frenzy. Sometimes it was Saturday evenings, then they would put it on Sunday afternoons when Chris Sheppard came on after the Frenzy, and then back to Saturdays, until the show died out.
