I hear you bouncn'. I'm gonna be doin' my own bouncn'. Not sure if I want to go in the front as I usually do or hang in the back. I'll see what my mood is. But I wanna know if doors open @ 9, when does the show start?-11? I also hope they don't have hardly any tech probs like their last show of Party Gras! It's not fair to the artist and fans. But it's always a blast. I don't care how many peeps are there, its been my tradition since the beginning and then the next day I gotta work @ 11. Maybe next year I'll take off tanxgvng! :dancepuff :cheer
 
well im going!! i for one love the huge crowds!! i love the atmosphere!!! i dont want to be in no vip area or at a table lol!! i want to be in the middle of it all!!!!!!!!!!! see everyone there!!! if any cf members are going pm me and i'll pm my cell number to u!! so we all can hang!!!

Hey guys- Just wanted to let you all know how excited I am about the show tomorrow night. This is without a doubt one of the biggest nights of the year for me, even more so this time around because all of my friends are coming down to see me work the big room. I will be previewing some of my multiedited tracks I did for MicMac's upcoming Bangin Beats release. For all of you guys who come from the time the doors open until the show starts- the energy is going to be through the roof! I am dusting off the vinyl and ready to get the party started the RIGHT way!!!

See you all tomorrow- pls dont hesitate to say hi- I'll be out and about while the show is going on getting drunk with my crew!

Hey New York.......
Speaking for Stevie and myself, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out last night to the Copacabana. The crowd was great and had a huge amount of energy. I believe the crowd made all the artists feel great and remind them that the fans are the real reason they still perform. Unfortunately Stevie and I arrived a little more than halfway after the show started so we didn't get to see that many of the acts but the people that I talked to say that they enjoyed all of the performances. We did get there in time to see the end of Lisa Lisa's set, as well as George Lamond, K-7, and Rob Base. I have to tell you that Rob Base did his thing like usual. That brotha knows how to get a crowd moving! Unfortunately, we got to the show after The Covergirls set so I missed it (and man did I have to hear it! love ya Ev-lol). But from what I hear, as always Evelyn, Lorraine and Sabrina looked lovely and put on a great show.
Stevie closed the show and I know he felt good performing in New York again as the crowd partied and sang along with Stevie as he perfomed his biggest hits. New York has some great fans and it was great being at Copa's. As always, Sal put on a first class show and you can expect nothing less from him and any show he puts together.
Again New York, thanks for everything and we hope to be back soon! And to all that couldn't make it hopefully we'll see you in Waterbury Ct. tomorrow night!!

I ended up going anyway lol, and it was off the hook you heard! Looking forward to more events like this one. I need to perform on stage myself soon 😉.

First off, all of the performers rocked it. I was especially impressed w Shannon and Coro...

However, one thing got me tight! I went to speak to an artist and he acted like he was to good to conversate. This was the third time I tried to give props to this dude and his nose shot right up. I'm not going to blast his name yet, but if it happens again I will...And I will see you in CT on Friday. Prove me wrong!

I hate to add my two sense when it's negative but respect is very big in this game.
 
Went last night and had a great time. We couldn't hang all the way to Stevie B, but saw good majority of the show. Left around 3 or so. Lisa Lisa I thought was going to go kick someones ass, but she didn't let anything get to her and she kicked ass with her acapella version. It was the first time I saw Shannon and Maribel and enjoyed both performances. Coro, GL, Noel, Cover Girls, Rob Base....wow everyone did an amazing job!

I seen that, that was messed up, but she rocked the shit let me tell you...and we all helped her out too, we were not about to have a true Freestyle legend leave because of it either, we wanted her to stay and finish her set.

Me being a salsa dancer, I was looking at all of the dance moves that everyone on stage did, and I was truly impressed...now if only I can find a way to get my ass on stage and showcase my talent one day...we'll see what happens this time. 😉

If they keep acting like that, then their talent can easily be taken away, and the only person it backfires on is them in the long run. Karma is a bitch.

I got there at 9:30 and met up with Brian (Pure Trend) downstairs, and then we went up stairs to hang out (and then I lost him the rest of the night after 12! lol. Brian where did you go man?! lol But yeah, we waited for the show to start from 9:30 alllllllllll the frikin way to 12:30. But it was worth it because I like being in the front, PLUCK the back, in the back you can't see jack shit. But yeah, they make you wait 3 hours after you arrive on time lol.

i had a great time!! the crowd was the most intense crowd i have ever seen at a freestyle show!!! i thought i was in the 60's and watching the beatles!!! thats how crazy the crowd went for the proformers!!! lachicabela sorry we seperated!! it was great to see u!!! WOW WHAT A SHOW!! WHAT A NIGHT!!! oh but i forgot freestyle is dead!!!! lmfao!!!!
