Anyways, gays are in every music. I love the music, their lifestyle is their business who are we to judge anybody. I found out early in my years that gays were in music. At first I was like I ain't listening to Ralph Rosario, Judas Priest, AC / DC etc. But I was like I'll be damned if the music don't move me. So I don't care what color you are or what sexual preference you have. As long as your music is bumping thats all that matters. I even own drag queen songs. I love them. The music not the words.

Anyways, I own these records & they bump. I know of fags, I say that with no disrespect, that are my personal friends that say they would not be caught dead spinnin Miguel Brown "So Many Men". I throw that song into my high energy mixxes. I love that song. My gay dee jay friends say that song is off limits. Go Figure!

Back when I was in grade 10, 2~3 years ago, I started listning to freestyle a lot. All of my friends said I was either gay or hurting.

Since like a year or something, everyone that said freestyle (and eurodance) was gay is now a hardcore clubber. They're all listning to freestyle and loving it. Go figure, they're biting my style now 😛
 
Nope, I Dont Think Freestyle Is "Gay" It Is Better Than The Rest Of That Crap Thats Being Played On The Radio, The Same Shit Songs Over And Over, I Havent Listened To The Radio In Months I Just Listen To My Freestyle CD's, So Whoever Says Freestyle Is Wack, Gay, Whatever They Say... They Dont Know WTF REAL MUSIC Is.. Plus People That Say That Are Just Part Of The Large Precentage Of A-holes I Dont Listen To 😀

I agree with Chyqo. Freestyle music is the gayest along with disco & euro. How is anybody going tos ay freestyle is not gay. I am not overusing the word. I mean it just like it is. I am 100% straight but I love gay music. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I love drag music too who cares. Long live gays with the dope beats!!!
 
I thought GAY people liked MADONNA and PRINCE and not FREESTYLE as a majority? ya know how many gay people i saw at a PRINCE concert in 88? ALOT!!

to me freestyle is not bubblegum music or gay or whateva u wanna call it...but i know a lot of guys that think it is

This is kinda surprising for me to read....I've never had any of my friends or anyone call freestyle gay or call me gay for listening to it...Sure some might be like "oh this sh*t is old its so 80's" and whatnot, but not "gay". But then again ya gotta figure the term "gay" is used very loosely...Nowadays most people who use it arent referring to the "gay" person/place or thing as "homosexual"....Its kinda funny though, since we're on the subject, how a lot of NYC straight culture is enmeshed with certain gay stereotypes....For example there's me....Your stereotypical italian hetero Staten Island kid....I wear tight Armani shirts and I fit right in around here.....However, I took a trip down to South Carolina and I was mackin it to this girl from the Midwest and she flat out asked me "uhhhh your not gay are you? I'm only asking because your wearing this tight shirt and your hair is all gelled up nice and you have gold jewelry..where I come from only gay guys do that"...Which is true in most of the country.....Another example..Most of us also listen to a lot of club music which as most of us know is inherently rooted in gay culture since the disco days........So ya know what ......People can call freestyle gay or whatever they want....The fact of the matter is whats considered straight or whats considered gay is VERY different to a lot of people....Like can you imagine this girl perceived me as "gay" because I was in full guido regalia? If she ever came to Staten Island, she'd probably think half the guys were gay!!!!! That's my story of the day lol

no offense to us, but i have had been called "gay" by my friends because i was the only guido they actually knew!! they thought all guidos were "gay" and the music we listened to also.
 
People are so ignorant some times! I've proven so many people wrong time & time again that Freestyle is ALL that! People need to just keep their comments to themselves when it comes to dissing other peoples choice of muzik. When someone cmoes with some lip about Freestyle, I'm like, "Yeah? What U got that's so much better?" A majority of the time they can't come up with sh*t!

Look, we all enjoy different types of music, some like rock, house, trance, etc etc etc, we all have our opinions about things. If I were to be swayed by closed-minded people and their "opinions" of the music we cherish then whats the use in having a brain!!! Enjoy the music you listen to , dont be arrogent OR aggravating about pumping it anywhere and everywhere, just respect your space and the others around you. Everything has a time and place.
