i live in the detroit area and i heard ian vah dahl - castels in the sky its kinda technoish but it still has a freestyle type song to it any one elese have freestyle songs being played in there area
 
that song is not freestyle.....it's trance.....and it's old..... detroit radio are nothin but followers....

and DJ Fresh, one cith that has some freestyle playing is TORONTO 😱 ... just a couple hours down the 401 and you hear elissa and freda and joee and intonation.
 
Castles In The Sky was a major eurodance radio and club hit in Canada when it was released last January 2001! You heard the freestyle remixes that are available on 12" Single. The version you heard was "Essential Electro Mix"; also featured on the vinyl are "Breakbeat Club Mix" and "Midnite Montreal Mix" by Robert Ouimet; also in short edit versions. play'em loud!

Play the remix of "Castles In The Sky" by Robert Ouimet (Midnite Montreal Mix) from the 12"; it has the traditional old school sound with the same synth cue as Whigfield "Much More" (DJ-EM freestyle Feel Club). And both are proudly Canadian freestyle remixes of these branded interntional artists. eh! hehehe
 
hey im gonna go check out harmony house and best buy this weekend for some new freestyle cds does anyone one know any place in detroit where i can get some new freestyle?

try melodies and memories in roseville, you'd better hurry cuz they don't have much freestyle left, i got most of it , but you might try planet rock, but they charge too much for records... its in my side of detroit, the Southwest side
