So, I just got the "Euro Freestyle Invasion 2" CD, and I'm wondering who comprises the Freestyle Allstars that sing "Freestyle For Life." Does anyone know?

Check out Civic with the info! 😉

Track written by Freda and Elissa, and comprise of those 3!

lol yeah well u were the one who informed me 😛

It's all about the info right!? 🙂

Mmm hmm... great song with a great message! Elissa is the sh**!!! 🙂 That's the kind of unity we need in our community. Let's make it happen! All across the world! I'm in such a loving mood now!!! 🙂 Freestyle forever!!!

I'm not a fan of this song. A little too cheesy for my taste.
i agree, just a really bad rip-off of the original american freestyle group song LEGENDS OF STYLE - WE ARE THE ONES

Howdy Tran,

I am gonna teaze you now with an opinion from the west and I am gonna tell you that I am baffled by your statement. There is no comparison to the "We are the one" track. The production on "Freestyle 4 life" is far superior both in the instrumention, vocals, and radio friendly appeal. The extended mix is even 100% better.

There is no way you would play the "Legends of Style" track on a Canadian dancefloor, let alone by accident on a live to air, especially in Western Canada and expect the club to remain full or the listeners to remain on the dial. And where is the similarity? No one up here knows of the "We are the ones" track which sounds horrible and no industry dj record pool would ever carry it even if it was made available for service.

In addition to Primadonna, Audrey, Freda, Anthony Gitto and many other tracks that you have been fond of , you should know that the caliber of tracks we support, promote and release at dashock.com would never have the instrumentation or quality of "We are the ones" and I can recall a few threads in the past where you were, and as you should have, been praising "freestyle 4 life".

Allrigtht Super Tran, I made my point hey, let's hear it for quality cancon :cheers

bassbump they play freestyle in western canada? since when. they barely even play it here anymore.
and i SO disagree on your comment on "freestyle 4 life" being better in vocals.. but i dont wanna argue much bout that, its all opinion and we are all entitled to our own.

Sorry Bassbump but your pro-Cancon bias is showing here. "Freestyle 4 Life" is inferior to "We Are The Ones" in every production criteria.

Also, I don't really consider "radio-friendly appeal" to be a true measure of quality.

"We Are The Ones" is the far superior song and the far superior production. "Freestyle 4 Life" is pure cheese!

To Tran and Gornicevo, We will agree to disagree 🙂 Call it cancon bias or radio friendly appeal, at the end of the day, I prefer the package anddelivery of "freestyle for life" over the other mentionned track.

Tran, next time you are coming down here to Alberta or the prariries, let me know and I will be happy to refer you to the many clubs whose dj's affiliated with the western Canada record pools who regularly serviced and play it. If you are in Calgary then we will have to show you around. A reminder that freestyle singles serviced to record pools, like Audrey and MC Mario only got major exposure out west rather than in Ontario where it should have.

cheers,

g
