I had a colored one but lost it a few years ago. Still my favorite Freestyle pic.

Why? Freestyle is always on my mind. When I hear the Buffy commercial on TV I think about "Give Me a Reason" "2 Find U" and "First Love"

Buffy the Slayer and the singer came out about the same time for me. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and saw Buffy perform locally before the Vampire Series begain to air.

I never heard of buffy, so maybe that's why. The only thing I associate with the name Buffy is the slayer.

As a recording artist yourself I can't believe you didn't know who Buffy was. Though she only made one album and then quit the industry, she certainly was very sucessful in music. Here in San Francisco she was on regular rotation for over 4 month and stayed #1 for 3 solid weeks on KYLD. I'm not talking mix show play, but solid rotation on tons of Top 40/Rythmic radio stations across the nation. Her song "Give Me a Reason" reached pop status landing her in the Billboard Top 40, not just the Dance catagory or reviews with Larry Flick.

Then one day she vanished....

Thanks Enigma. I did try that first but it gave me an error warning. Perhaps the message system is not compatable with older Macintosh OS.

I'm sure there are alot of artists that I don't know. Just as I know that ALOT of people don't know who I am.

as far as her vanishing, maybe she just got tired of the industry as many do, or maybe found something else more fullfilling to do. 😉

I also am not aware of alot of new school artist, which is a shame because I would like to know who are the ones singing behind some of these good songs.
