this is for the kids who choose death before life​

who sit in bed at night and think “man suicide sounds about right”​

keeping their heads high trying to hold on and fight​

but truthfully knowing they’ve lost control of their lives​


this is for the kids with no parents to speak of​

who’s never felt a guardians love, plane hate they wreak of​

who don’t know what it is to have a “father-son” moment​

for a boy that’s an awful impossible environment​


this is for the kids that don’t have a home​

growing up in a world that’s so cold and alone​

who’ve stripped life down to the bare truth-and-bone​

not even clothing to cover them, their whole life exposed​


this is for the kids that get retained and relocated​

with families of other colors, no sign they’re related​

society wants them ceased and recreated​

all the kids want is to get of out being regulated​

can’t people just give up their grudges​

they don’t have these kids lives, who are they to be judges​

people should open their eyes and learn to shut their mouths​

nowadays no one cares about anything but themselves​

Nice job.

I can really relate to the first part above. In my senior year of high school, I almost chose death over life.

I'm glad that I chose life.
 
Thanks everyone..... I've had some friends choose death and I wanted to let everyone know there's people there for them no matter who they are.
I've decided to try and come on here more often than I used to, and comments like this help🙂
