I'm really very upset about this thing with TKA.Angel was a very important part of the group,and he was the one who put them back on the scene, i know this for a fact.I spoke to him directly,and most of the problems are not because of him as kay described them to be.Now of course there are three sides to every story,"his(kay)his(angel)and the truth,but that's between them.i not looking to start trouble,but i sit hear,and i'm very upset,and mad that they came back strong,and now Angel's out.To me it's not right,and if they do this thing with GL the A should not be used!!!!because Angel or Aby is no longer part of TKA so they need to drop the A.Kay i respect you always have,and when we spoke on the phone last month i really did'nt get to speak my peace to you about the subject,you told me what you needed to say ,but for me i was unable to say what i was truly feeling being that it was a Sunday morning 8:30 to be exact.From hearing your side and hearing Angel side i really think you guys can work things out.Please don't take the original group away.Back in 1992 when you guys broke up it destroyed me,but it was a mutal thing between all of you.now it just seems ugly.Yeah i sound like a groupeee right now ,and i've always been that groupeee if you will,but Angel has always been my friend,and always will be.Don't feel sorry for Angel anyone that's not why i'm writting .Angel's going to be fine he's got his work cut out for him he'll be just fine.i'm just very upset,and i just wanted to vent,and also to hear if anyone out there who feels like i do?:realsad :tka
 
WHAT!!! Angel's not in TKA no more.😡 Damn..that's f*cked up. he was my favorite one out of the group. did they replace him with somebody or it's just Tony and Kayel? it wont be the same with out him :sosad

Whatever happened is really between Tony, Kayel, and Angel. As a longtime fan of the group, Im sorry to see they are no longer together but this is life, and u have to respect their choices to move on, whether its together or apart. I will always love their hits and I look forward to whatever each guy does in the future...whether is together or solo!!!!

Nothing but the best!!!

I'm 33 and just coincidently I happen to be listening to TKA's, Maria right now! I grew up in south florida and love everything the fellaz have done. As a group they have definitely given something special to freestyle. They will forever be associated with the freestyle culture much as Smokey Robinson is with the Mowtown Scene.

So as a grateful fan I say to all the Members of TKA...

Fellaz thanks for the music that created the memories. GOD BLESS!

I look forward to the new work you are all involved in with George.

Just let it rest already each member is moving on to other projects, they deserve to do whats best for them not what people seem to want to dictate to them. You seem to be using your personal feelings towards the members as a reason for them to stay together. Groups grow apart, not everyones focus is going to remain the same. They are continuing to make music in the end that is all that should matter. They need to do whats best for them as individuals. So lets not dwell.
 
i also agree with all of you,maybe i do take it to a level that dosent concern me,but my feelings are mine,and maybe mine alone.Tony i never meant to get you pissed at me i'm only expressing my true feelings,and you know who i am.i'm the same person i've always been a loyal TKA fan!and i know you put the group together in 1983,i was talking about now after 92.i've been there for all of you from day one,and i will always remain a true fan.So don't be mad at me for expressing myself.peace!

I'll be blunt...when this whole subject came about, I thought it royally sucked! But times change, and I'm sure most of us would like to stay stuck in 1987 or 1992, but we can't. And neither can TKA. Another thing to remember, is that TKA and TKG are separate groups for the most part..so let's all just leave the TKA legend in the past where it belongs, and cherish the memories that they brought to us, and move on with TKG. I know it's easier said than done, but I'm really looking forward to this.
 
you really nailed it down....i completely agree with what u said and thats what ive been trying to say....tka is past and tkg is the future.....u nailed it by saying 2 seperate groups and u r completely correct!!!!

this is crazy... I love TKA's music.. BUT some of you are obsessed!
you know what.. I am from the bronx.... I am old school I go back to the begining w/ all of this. BUT lets be real... aren't we al tired of this...
It's flattering to the guys I am sure, that they have such passionate fans...BUT it's getting so OVERKILL now.

artists grow & evolve... they are real people! that is exactly whats happening here.. for whatever the reason... ( AND ITS THIER REASON, TKA) the group CAN NOT function as the powerhouse they once were!!

TKA will always be the KInGS of Freestyle... the memories you have, the love for thier music... it lives on in you... BUT it's OVER!!! be done w/ it.

Tony & K7 are working w/ GL now, an astounding talent on his own, who has conquered more than 1 genre of music!!!

They are going to make new music for us to move too, new memories. we have loved them seperate...... 2 of the best.. well now they are together.... & they are going to do what they have always done best.... entertain, make us MOVE...!!! the anticipation alone is warming... that this new collaboration of freestyle is coming from the best you ask to put together. thses aren't one hit wonders..looking to make a quick buck.... these are proven, driven dedicated artist that are giving to us once more... w/ all they've got b/c they wouldn't do it. if they had any less in there hearts!!!

as far as Angel goes.. good luck & God bless..., I hope all your endevours are great ones & much success to you. you will ALWAYS be remebered as a king of freestyle & the A in TKA.
IF anything. leaving the A.. is a compliment to both (Andy & Angel), saying YES you were a part of the foundation to whichh we are today.
if they make it TKG.. so be it... just as fitting. it says.. we're DONE w/ that... we took it to the MAX. & now we move on to do it again w/ George.
realize this.. for everyone it's a win/win situation....

so why not let this rest already.. leave the boys alone to make thier music (for themselves & US, the fans), never forget TKA... & be happy they care enough about themselves & thier fans to bring the best possible person they could into the group.. so they can continue to move forward...!
