Football Player dies after Preseason Game

Dateline; San Francisco:

SF 49ers OLB Thomas Herrion collabsed during a preseason game saturday. He walkoff the field on his own will. Later he collabsed again and later died saturday night after the game. His death was a rareity of Football deaths since 2001; Vikings LB Corey Stringer died from heat-stroke.

Not yet. But it is becoming very disturbing with how big these guys are getting and these workouts out keep a certain size. Very bad!

Here is more info on that player that die from the SF 49rs.

"DENVER (Aug. 21, 2005) San Francisco offensive lineman Thomas Herrion collapsed in the locker room and died shortly after the 49ers played the Denver Broncos in a preseason game. He was 23.
Herrion, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound guard, was on the field for San Francisco's 14-play, 91-yard drive that ended with a touchdown with 2 seconds left.

Players had finished listening to coach Mike Nolan address them in a postgame meeting when Herrion collapsed. Medics administered CPR on him and took him to an ambulance that rushed him to a nearby hospital.

About three hours later, 49ers spokesman Aaron Salkin confirmed that Herrion had been pronounced dead. The cause of death was not immediately known."

I can only speculate, but I wouldn't be at all surprise if the reason to his death is from one of the four reasons below:

1. Enhancement drugs which stressed the body & heart
2. Other "special" drugs
3. Blow to the chest, which resulted in an abnormal beat or swelling to the heart
4. He lied on about physical and had a heart or other condition not previously release to his coaches

Now, I am not here to stir up trouble, but I do want to see your opinions too. What do y'all think?

Bro', this is a NFL player!! I'm not sure if he was a starter or not, but this is a guy playing in the NFL, which usually means he's in better shape than most of us regardless of weight.

this truly is a tragedy I think results from the autopsy will be released today, thru last nights Giants game they kept mentioning it and man all I could do was feel for his fam.....R.I.P. my prayers go out to them
