Blue skies life dies
No one around
Not a person in sight
just me holding on to my pillow so tight

The streets are dark and quiet
As the world around me sleeps
and this when I begin to weep

Shhhh lil one don't you cry
Don't fill your heart with such pain
Just open your heart one more time
remember one's loss is other's gain

Days have gone by
Tears that I've shed are long gone
and I longer ask why
cuz that love is over and done.

So fly away my beautiful butterfly
Take those wings I gave you
and fly high into the sky
Be yourself, be true
that is all I ask of you
