Finally my girl CYNDI LAUPER gets recocgnized by "VH1 DIVAS" She is such an underated artist that sometimes because of her unique style- she gets over looked,CHER said when she was on VH1 DIVAS a year ago,she would not sing without CYNDI.PATTI LA BELLE declined to perform at that show years go because PATTI was 2nd choice to performand she said no, Im not no second choice performer, but this year because of CYNDI she will attend.I am so proud of CYNDI finally being recognized and being part of the headliner performers coming APRIL 19th,I believe I could be wrong, forgive me, I need to double check.I cant wait to purchase the DVD also.HEADLINERS

I just dont like it when they call some of these performers like BRANDY, MARY J BLIGE,BRTNEY SPEAS, ETC.....The title to me is that you have been there long enough & have a respect & certain original art to you- that no one can touch, a true DIVA. :sflower
 
Yeah The Remixes are hot!!! Her album "SHINE" will be released this month only available on JAPANESE import,She released an EP of "SHINE" in US, but never the full-length with 14 new songs. VH1 DIVAS 2004 will be airing APRIL18th at 9/8 depending were you live, that is the correct date, sorry for putting the wrong date in my earlier post.
 
I remember i saw cyndi perform at a junior vasquez afterhours party at club exit like a year 1/2 ago and she was amazing. I was standing on a speaker right next to the stage when and she was singing to me at one point. she did an acapella of "she bop" and "shine" and the crowd went crazy! this was around 2pm in the afternoon. what a great time i had that day....kristine w also performed.
