Final Thoughts (Confusion2)
It wasn’t until today that I realized that love is more powerful than it seems
It has the power to confuse the minds of the hearts of the people who own them
As if a heart wonders about things...
Like a mind does in disbelief
But I always thought a heart can only feel pain but it is the brain that interprets it as grief
So I guess the brain acts as an interpreter for the deaf
It takes signs and gives off meaning so that they are able to communicate without breath
Showing love and affection for someone is like a radiance, a glow
An aura that follows you wherever you go
It allows others to see with their eyes what can only be seen, felt by the heart
It lets us know that behind that smile lies a frown when you and that special someone are apart
When the slightest thought of them can ease your pain and your anguish
Didn’t know you were bilingual ‘til love became a 2nd language
But still I believe love is more than a language, it’s an act
Enacting as a secret handshake among loved ones like a pact…
To forever be there…
To forever declare…
To the world that “No Matter What”, you will always take care…
Of the one that you love so much…
That numbness couldn’t stop you from feeling loves touch
It’s just something about the way that it makes you feel
Like when the sound of their voice can draw smiles, then you know it’s for real
When no matter how long they are away, your heart will keep them close by
As if “I love You” can only mean hello, and never goodbye
