i can agree with all you guys about the money and this and that........but as for corrupt referring during the korea portugal game.......i never really saw it.......and i saw 3/4 of the game.....i saw 1 uncalled for card.......but hey thats just my opinion on the game........but money does rule the world and we all know that

MARIO: haha mario, 3/4 of the game huh?? we'll i think that you probably watched the game with one eye closed just like the ref, if you never really saw that almost every foul was against portugal, Figo and several other players were pushed to the ground and ref said play on, when we tackled someone, a foul was called. one more thing, the Joao Pinto tackle was a hard one, i'll admit that but not bad enough for a red (in my opinion), now here's the worst call in the game without a doubt.. Mario if you were really watching the game, the BETO red car (second yellow), Beto never even came close to touching the Korean player if you look at the replay, the Korean player dove intentionally.. sorry man but i think that the ref was very unfair towards us!!

GBOY: i know exactly how you feel man!! same BS when Portugal played Korea, the ref was on Korea's side.. and c'mon man the red card to Totti?? not a red.. no way!! yes he dove but, the play should have continued.. that was a really bad call by the ref! also, a few times offside against italy was called and italy was on side!! that goes to show you which country will be in the final! Soccer like this sucks big time !! not fair, i do not care if anyone tries to tell me differently, the refs are not going a good job in this world cup at all, they are on Korea's side for sure! ITALIA just like PORUGAL was robbed of a win to advance!! all you italians know exactly how us portuguese feel right now! it's a shame but unfortunately looks like the rest of the cup will be decided by the ref's !! The korean's paly extremely rough and are never booked for it..; oh well this stuff really pisses me off but i'll shut up now !!😡
 
Portu don't shut up... you have all the rights to express ur anger. Ur a fan and ur opinion should matter the most. Believe me or not ur not the only one who is complaining about the righteousness of the refs. A lot of my friends think it's a disgrace to soccer.

Too bad Italy lost... I was hoping for them to face Brazil in the finals...
 
i did miss the second yellow card by BETO and have heard it was uncalled for.......but the JOAO PINTO red card in my opinion was well deserved.....DICK HOWARD said it best during the half time....what was he thinking when he did that, there was no need for that in the midfield, he deserved the card.....and i agree.......but hey thats just my opinion........this world cup has been full of upsets upto now.......and i can see upsets happening till the very end
 
your opinion is respected MARIO, but i have to say that i think many of these "upsets" have happened thanks to crappy referee's and really bad, controversial calls.. not good to see in today's soccer world and it's very unfortunate. but nothing us fans can do except watch our team and hope for the best.

1sxychica: thanks for the support and i will continuing to express my anger and my opinion about this world cup... by far i think it has been one of the worst world cups i have seen.
 
i think everyone seems to think this world cup is a disappointment.......due to the fact of all the teams that are in the quarter-finals that in many opinions shouldnt be there.......and the simple reason that all the BIG teams are out......the referring has been a tad unfair i will admit.....but other than that it doesnt make for that much of a sloppy world cup.......the teams that have made it so far.......coz they deserved to be there.....lets just see who reaches the final
 
I personally think this world cup is a huge disappointment due to the fact that the referees have been more than a TAD unfair....I do not know if we are watching the same games here but lets get realistic..
Korea out of no where beats lets see 4 of some of the greatests teams in the world cup in KoreaJapan world cup that is....just makes you wonder..
Anyways I know this is dragging on and seriously I do not mean to offend anyone but the pieces do not fit....and its not like I have anything against Korea, I think in general they are a great team but too viscious on the field..

It doesnt matter if the Team plays bad.....other Teams like France, Portugal, etc....played no good Soccer, too but the Fact is: Germany is still in the Cup !!!! You must see that every team has an individual Strategie to play their game....USA played an excellent game against Germany but they dont put the Ball into the net....
So maybe when Germany played as excellent as they played agains Saudi Arabia maybe they wnt off the cup already....but it is not easy to score 8 Goals against a Team and it doeasnt matter if it is Saudi aRabia or France or other Teams....each of the qualified Teams of this Cup are good and have made their job good.....for Example...Netherlands did not qualify and they play good Soccer, too.
Maybe the German Strategy and the way they play soccer bring the Sucess. Thats my Opinion
