My favorites are Willie V. Synthia Figueroa , Freeze, Nick Colon, Alex Ln, Rockell, Sharyn Maceren. Vocal Image, Just to mention a few . There are so many but I give all of us credit for Staying in this gengre . Bonchinche and headaches can get to us . We all can have bad days.
 
Although Ashley and Nu Image have both been around for a decade, they are some of the brightest stars to emerge from the "New School" era.

Mystie is another favorite of mine who gained recognition during the New School era even though her career began in the early 1990's. She remains to be one of the most under-rated female artists ever, in my opinion.

Now for my favorite New School artists (in no particular order)...

Hey I gave up props to 3 cuts on that album that I wasted $20 on. Reviews mean absolutely nothing to me. I had only heard of the cd through this site in the stream included on the bio in the "OnStage" section. Otherwise I would've never known of it, so I don't know where these great reviews are. But even if I did read a great review, why am I gonna run out to buy a cd just because someone else thinks it's hot? What I like and what the next man likes are normally totally to the left of each other. No offense but it's not like any Artistic releases were hot sellers. I'm pretty sure it's more than just .01% lol

Old school, new school, I don't care. I just like good music. If i'm feelin an artist they either have some deep shyt on their album with a voice to express it, or that song that the club goes crazy for when the dj spins it. None of which was included on the "Dreaming" cd.

Don't take it personal. Some people will like ur shyt and some won't. That's entertainment. It's always been that way. Can't please everyone. It helps and makes it easier to know how to deal with opinions you don't like. You can take it and shake it off, learn from it, whatever, but it's silly to get bent outta shape about it.
 
i'd like to know what you do like? I am a good judge of good music. i would admit if something i did was wack. I know i have done some wack stuff as well. But hey what ever. Think what ya want. I know its a good album sorry you feel this way. But its your opinion. like I said before without stretching the truth you are .01 % who thought like this. but for real I wanna know what you think is good. i gotta read this.

as to whats on it (no clue) but you could never deny his skills
he represents FREESTYLE to the fullest, he's brought ALOT of jams to the Industry (who agrees)

Not all FREESTYLE meets alot of peoples taste I realize that, but plainly put If you see an album with songs you like get it, If there's any you don't like DON'T GET IT!!!!

i saw alvendia live along with Judy Torres, Stevie B and Lisa Lisa a while back. she was coo and our wonderful Judy she was so great!!! When you gonna come back to the bay area babe?!?!?!

There is at least one song in EVERY genre of music that i luv! I like all music. Don't get it twisted, I'm not trying to attack your work personally, I DID like "One True Love Affair". I liked the way the verses were sung. Kinda eerie, sounded like echoes!<---Props

But mainly right now, I think Robbins Entertainment has the hottest freestyle roster: Cynthia, George LaMond, Rockell, K5, etc. It's good, quality stuff! Nothing rushed or sloppy.

Hey, we've ALL done wack stuff! But .01%???...LET IT GO BRUTHA! Even artists at the top of the Billboard charts have more than .01% of people who disliked their album. C'mon man!
 
First off Thats Robbins OLD Roster. its now 2002. George lamond? Cynthia? K5? when was the last time you saw a freestyle release from robbins? They HAD good stuff. They are a great label but they arent in the business for Freestyle. And to that .01% i am going by reviews of fans, magazine, industry people. I have the facts. I am not just saying this to say it man. So u can let it go. One true love affair eerie? uh ok. there was no echo on the vocals. might be the tape copy u have or something. what else have you heard of mine? i have over 300 songs out. if you havent i will send you some cds for free man.

As far as Robbins goes, don't hate on another label just cuz they are doing better than u!

I was trying to throw u a compliment with "One True Love Affair" but u ain't never gotta worry about me doing that again! U can keep ur free shyt (cuz if u got over 300 songs and i've only heard one, there's mos def a reason why!). U can keep on with this .01% but like I said, even the big dawgs at the top of the Billboard charts (of which your nowhere close!) have more than .01% that disliked their stuff.
