WASSSUUPP Freestyle peeps out there!!!! It feels good to be back. I've been cooped up in that studio too long. Been busy working on some freestyle of course. Hopefully one day you'll go buy some freestyle CDs and see DJ Mongo on the cover! Well, till then, I'll keep dreaming. But anyways, I wanna know if ya'll peeps out there got a favorite DJ to all those Freestyle mixes ya'll be buying. Here's mine:

1. Tim Spinnin Schomer
2. Johnny Budz of course
3. DJ Felony
4. Bad Boy Joe
5. MEEEEEEEEE (of course)
6. DJ Surge (From out here in MASS.)

Well who's your favorite freestyle DJ???

1-tim spinnin schommer
2-nat t boy nardi
3-tom throwin down denic

**JohnnyB
**Tim Shomer
**Me..

No particular order..

M...😎

Schommer and Budz, of course. You may be tired of hearing me give props to Power 105.5, but Vinyl Fingers and the other DJ's were spinning mad 'ish. Always 3 turntables live and awesome New School song selections.

Like I always say......

It's All About Da BUDZ on ClubFreestyle.com !!

My other fav's are:

DJ Bad Boy Joe
DJ Vinyl Fingers

Man,

I like Jazzy Jim for his 5'oclock traffic jam mix on Wild 94.9

Sergio & Vinyl Fingers From Power 105.5 (I Heard hella Freestyle on the radio when this guys were on)

The time I was out in NY, I thought that Johnny was dope!

The Mixtress.

As mix show Dj's that don't really play freestyle any more but are BAD AZZ is, without a doubt ST. John!!

I've seen ST. John, mix live, without HEADPHONES, chatting with you at the Same time, and come off SICK!!

Thats MAGIC !!!!

does vinyl fingers have any old or new freestyle mix cds

first off, i hope this works, this is my first time writing although i been coming to this site for a long time.

of course the answer to this question is the latin rascals. they started it all yo !!

but nowadays, my vote is for johnny budz. not only does he play all the classics he's told to play by the station, he plays lesser known songs that others don't have da balls to play especially on sunday nights show. plus, he's the only dj in nyc that plays newer shit. although i don't like most of da new stuff, some of it is good...yo johnny, do u like this new stuff, or just play it cause u have to ? plus he uses different techniques of mixing. he uses dubs (just like the latin rascals used to), accapellas, etc. he makes it exciting to listen to ! it sounds live...just like the old days .not this tiring pre-recorded editing. they don't even beatmix songs !

i got the bad boy joe cd. its annoying in my opinion. the same style of mixing is used throughout the cd. edits, edits, edits. this style of mixing can be easily done on a computer....i know, i do it too ! not 1 song is beatmixed

schommer is da shit too.although his mixes are never live..they are all premixed via computer also.i like those guys on Power 105...i listen to them on the internet.and jammin johnny on power 96 is still slammin.peace !

I don't think so.

Making a great (edited) FreeStyle sequence takes skill and hard work--two things which Bad Boy Joe showcased on his latest FreeStyle CD. Awesome editing sequences are much harder to do than mere beat matching.

oops

i forgot:

Bad Boy Joe...

Jam Master Jay?? Freestyle!! not hiphop, lol...

yo, no doubt, it takes mad talent to edit like his cd. although it is much easier with todays technology. not like the old days when they had to splice reel to reel tape. i'm not dissing his style. he got talent. i'm just saying in my opinion it gets very annoying very quickly. i guess i'm just from the old school. nothing beats hearing songs blended together and thats why i like da budz style.

guys like bad boy joe are more engineers/producers than they are dj's. show me what you can do on the turntables live ! thats all i mean. i got mad respect for all the dj's

yo. i didn't know grand master flash spun freestyle !
