I have a baby girl that is almost two. Her father and I are not together either, so I know how you feel...Nasty1. I hope that when she gets older she will understand that things just happen. I love her dearly, and so does her father. Me and him are not together, but both of us are in her life. As long as ahe gets to see both of us, that counts. And sometimes I feel like she needs to see the both of us, mom and dad together, even if we hate eachother, so she knows who mommi and papi are.
 
You're right Blanca, I have no doubt that my little angel knows who I am (it shows everytime I go over to pick her up) and who her mother is. I'm slowly, but surely, dealing with this. Her mother and I do act civil but I still have this anger towards her because she put me in this situation. Where I can't see my kid everyday, and I miss out on most of the "baby" stuff that she does. And it kills me when she asks me not leave!! All I can do is love her the best way I can.
 
You Know My Dawg is in this same situation the only difference is that she and kids dad get along. They still have to be parents. I commend her for it. Why be angry at each other? let the past go and be happy that you are still in her life. Give her all the love she needs. She will one day grow and realize that sometimes grown ups can't get along with each other and rather than keep hurting each other you must walk away and be mature. Nasty I know you love your baby and my hats off to you for being there for her even with your busy schedule. It shows that you are mature and that you are a great dad. Kids aren't dumb they know.
 
Thanks Lala!!!!! It's not easy for me, but you're right!! I'm learning to deal with my anger. I just take it one day at a time..🙂

HI NASTY THAT FRIENDS LALA IS TALKING ABOUT IS ME. IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO LET GO OF THE ANGER AND WHEN "WE" DID WE REALIZE THAT BREAKING UP WAS THE BEST THING FOR ALL INVOLVE. PERSONALLY OUR RELATIONSHIP IS BETTER AND MUCH STRONGER. WE GET ALONG BETTER AND ARE OUR PARENTING IS ACTUALLY BETTER NOW THAT WE ARE NOT CONSTANTLY BICKERING. I TRIED TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOPIC BUT I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY ON IT. ONE THING IS YOU DONT HAVE TO BE WITH THE OTHER TO PARENT IN ORDER TO BE A GOOD ONE. JUST SHOW THEM CONSTANT LOVE AND DONT PLAY THE BLAME GAME NO MATTER HOW TEMPING IT IS.
