In NYC handling my biz!!!!

I personally have come to believe over the years that sometimes family is your worse enemy. Sad to say but the truth.

I'm so bold and outspoken that I've had to put family members in their place! Set them straight! I don't like gossip and refuse to make room for it in my life!

Have you ever had a problem with a family member or members that has made you look at them with different eyes? For instance, a family member that's interfering and starts some kind of gossip about you?
 
well my family hasnt exactly been a perfect one, since it fell apart... but its nothing compared to my hubby's family... they gossip about each other, then they hang out together, then they back stub each other... it's crazy... in that case family is ur worst enemy...
 
NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY FAMILY MEMBERS!! IF THEY DID THEY WILL HEAR FROM ME :director :buggin

mama, my hubby's family is the worse also! GRRRRRRRR........... I don't want to get into it I get so freakin' mad!
 
yeah... i dont wanna go into detail either... that will just get me so mad... i hate two-faced ppl, and seems like they all are.
 
oohhhh yeah... im not the one to take shit from ppl or not to comment when i see something wrong.. so sometimes it becomes an issue... i dunno whats better having a broken small family that it makes u feel alone in the world, or a family full of backstubbers and liars.
 
I know what you mean Sxy........... I deal with the backstabbers because it's HIS family and I won't give them the pleasure of ANYTHING. However, I deal with it by not going to their houses, don't spend holidays with them, and stay in my OWN home.
 
i dont wanna go there either... im there as little as possible, and if i am, im in his room watching TV... i try to escape drama, altho it seems to follow me anyway :crap

but im glad im not the only one...
 
Nope Sxy! Next time you go through crap, you remember that I'm with you! You're not alone! I support you girl! We can't allow ourselves to be stepped on. They're not better than us! :nono
 
thank u so much ma... it feels good to hear that im not alone and i dont overexaggerate when i say i rather stay outside in the witer cold than be inside and warm with that bunch of ppl...
and i know mama, they're no better than us... they're trippin' cos we're better than them.. and that's that

My family is like this. The ones in my family are insecure and jealous and ignorant. There's always a reason why people are the way they and that is why I havent gone off on them yet. But at the same time, I keep my distance.
 
Yeah I find that keeping distance is soooo much better. It prevents nasty, ugly, arguments and pain that can be avoided. I know when I go off, I don't give a damn. So I stay away from MOST members in my hubbys family.

I hear all of you and its true in some families this happens a lot. There are some people in my mom's family that are kind of like that, but you know what
I don't care whatever they talk about me, so I keep my distance and when we do get together I looooove to brag about how good I'm doing and how good my son is and how good everything in my life is, so they wont have anything to talk about. :nah to them anyway :lol

I say that if they like to start rumors about me, is because I'm important enough for them to mind. If it's a rumor, it'll go back to them anyway 'cause if I hear the rumor believe me I'll expose them in front of everyone, but with the attitude of a movie star :lol
 
Well as for me my family on my mother side about 94% act like there poop don't stink and they think they are better than anybody. They only like to invite the family thats in there click. Now they want kiss my butt because I write for Latino Voice and I am on the radio. That's muelto they cut off....
