F.Y.I. IF U GUYS WANT FREE CHECKING...

For those of u who live in New York...If u guys are looking to open up an account with no monthly fees. the best place to go is GreenPoint Bank. They have a free checking account. When I say free...i mean unlimited usage of the atms. unlimited check writing privileges. no maintaining balances. and no monthly fees. But to be honest the only thing you will be charged for will be the checks, that is if u want to order them.
Plus like every other account. Just when u issue a check or even use that debit card...make sure there are funds in the account. Or there will be a charge of $30 for non-sufficient funds. A lot of the customers that we have do that alot.

Sounds awesome. Im a Citibank customer but Im happy with my Checking account. I have a savings and checking for a year free...have to keep a minimum of $1,500 not to face deductions after the year. I love the online account logging on etc. Im happy. 😀

As for monthly fees, only if you have the Visa Debit Card, and that is just $12.00 PER YEAR, so there is no monthly charge.
