To tell you the truth,its up in the air! The owners of WLIR are Selling a lot of thier holdings.When the station came out,they wanted to see where it was going.The first 2 to 3 years the ratings were doing better then WBLI,but the owners too cheap to get a bigger signal!We even got a letter from KTU congraduating us and not having a bigger signal to hit the Tri-state!
 
You guys were the best i loved going to the mega jams. The owners chickened out when they were supposed to have wlir turn into party 105 backthen. Another dance station that wont be around much longer

I was wondering why my reception has been terrible for the longest time. I finally read in the paper what party 105 and dre's attennas were too high and they were told to bring it to code or get penalized. "F" the FCC!!
