The great thing about these forums is people can have an opinion about anything and anybody. When you are about to be critical about anybody, including your friends, your favorite singers, groups and etc etc, please think about what your saying and don't react emotionally. After reading these forums where people are emotional about there music, there opinions come off very immature. The people you talk about are normal people like yourselves and are not perfect, and will probably make mistakes. But since they are in the limelight we think we can tell them whats best for them. They know what they are doing. THey have the same pressures in life that we do. My personal opinion is we shouldn't be telling them what to do and how to do it. It's there life not ours. I am sure all of you can take instruction and critiscism, but I am sure you don't want someone like me or anybody harping on you about everymove you make.

So basically, lets just be respective of one another and be supportive of each other. You don't have to like every person or decision thats made, just respect!

Wow Skoza my hat goes off to you😉

Thanks everyone,

Just voicin my opinion on some of the people who participate here at club CF. It bothers me to no end when we complain about people without doing our homework!

Do any of you know if TKA or any Freestle groups and artist would come out to San Diego for a concert?

Amen. Sure we support them...if it wasn't for us fans they probably wouldn't be what they are today...but regardless...they are in control of the outcome. I so agree with everything you say skoza!

smooothrhythm,

I bet we can create a great freestyle song from the New Testament!

Hollering back atchya

Hey, the greatest love story is told in the New Testament, which is a topic that freestyle music is based on very frequently. It also speaks about the topic of this thread, which is to "love thy neighbor as yourself." Smoothrhythm, instead of hollaaaaring, you should read.
Hey, you might learn something.

Its all about being cautious of what you say and how you say it.

Just keep it freestyle

I think on one hand, being an artist of any kind, you subject yourself to criticism as a part of your job. Most artists are very aware from the start that people's opinions are a big part of where their career will take them. On the other hand, criticizing the music and personally criticizing the artist are two different things. Constructive criticism never hurts anybody. There's a way to say and do everything.

I think a bigger problem for freestyle artists actually is with the fans. I think freestyle artists have some of the most devoted fans who will faithfully listen to songs from decades ago and be satisfied with them. But the devotion is somewhat conditional, and you guys know exactly what I mean right! lol How many times has an artist tried to break a new style and got dragged through the mudd for wanting a change? Freestyle fans are supportive as long as the artist is doing freestyle and that's kinda cruddy. STR8 UP!

Singers try to reach as many people as they can. There are so many different forms of good music that they will logically have to try different sounds to reach a larger fanbase. But if their own fans won't support them, that will definitely stagnate their careers and their sales fa' sho! If you really wanna see your favorite artists doing "crossover" sales, they're going to HAVE TO venture outside freestyle. But they need the support of their original fanbase so that they can reach new ones.
