Erika's "Relations" question?

I know this song is not Freestyle but I wanted to know when in Europe did this song come out? I downloaded it last summer and has been number one at Energy 92.7/5 here in Chicago for two weeks now. It has only been out for about 4 weeks here now. What country is she from and how well did the song do over in Europe? Has she had any more songs released? Thanks for any info! THis is one of those songs that I have not gotten sick of.

i just DL the song and i never heard it before....personally i find it not so good...there is a whole bunch of other good Euro stuff out like Sylver, Lasgo, Milc Inc.....
The Song from Erika could not be that great here in Germany cause i drive a lot with my car and listen to several Radiostations and i never take notice of this song.
Is there more Euro-Stuff get airplayed in the USA ???

Erika is from Italy, that song is pure italo and it was like #1 on the charts from the summer in Italy, I think she has another song called Save my heart

whohooooo.......Club Bizzare by Brooklyn Bounce is now playing over there......it´s an old song from them.....

I cant believe, that Omnibus-Lautsprecher is played over there....
Omnibus = Trafficbus Lautsprecher=Loudspeaker.
It´s out of Germany and played well at the clubs....

In Canada the new Brooklyn Bounce release is "Club Bizarre 2002", just remixed from europe into a vocal trance tune a la DJ's@work/Barthezz/Ayla... which is 100% better then the original release from last year.

In freestyle check out new FREESTYLE PROJECT "Baby, Baby, Baby", with an exclusive Canadian remix 12" coming out shortly.

You might want to also check out the Canadian eurodance hit release by Erika "Save my heart" from early last year. A good italo stomper and much better then "relations".

My guess is that it will show up on the best of 2002 chart. Let's hope it makes it. I have been trying to get them to add something from Robin Fox and Noel's "Will I find true Love". I don't know what they are waiting for. I have been requesting "Eyes of a stranger" and I don't think they have a promo of that yet. If there is, hopefully one was sent to the station.

to my understanding, "eyes of a stranger" is the next release from SAFIRE. I believe everything is being worked on to start shipping the single to stations. i truly hope this single blows up bigger than "can you stand the rain" . "eyes" is definately a much stronger song.

I totally agree with you on that one. I think they are getting people'S requests for new freestyle music on the station. Otherwise they would have never added "Can you stand the rain", "Music for my soul" and the China Dolls "I'll know how to love you". Do you have any idea when the promos will ship?

i know ktu has a copy, and it was featured during the freestyle show 1 week ago on friday nite. vic latino on ktu give props to safire for the new fresh freestyle sound.

hopefully the same stations that supported the duet on their playlist will also support "eyes". again, im sure it'll be another battle.

tuesdays are normally the days when radio stations across the nation announced what songs have been added to there playlist.

i'll try to get some info on the single, so we could start requesting the song on radio.

in speaking to safire, she agrees that "eyes" has potential to be a bit hit and we both agree that a great house mix would be awesome for this song.

Thanks for the info Sandman. I may just give them a call during lunch and talk to someone who knows something there about music programming. I don't think a house mix could win me over as much as the freestyle mix of Eyes of a Stranger. That is definitely the best song so far this year!

After downloading and listening to Erika's "Save your love" I have to say "Relations" is by far a much stronger and better track.
