I AM JUST CURIOUS...I AM FILLING OUT A JOB APPLICATION FOR A CLOTHING STORE THAT I WANT TO WORK AT, AND MY QUESTION IS....

IF I AM SELF EMPLOYED DO I PUT THAT DOWN UNDER EMPLOYMENT HISTORY??

I DO HAVE DAYCARE DURING THE DAY, AND I WORK @ A SALON EVERY OTHER SATURDAY, BUT I AM MY OWN BOSS SO OF COURSE THAT IS CONSIDERED SELF EMPLOYED TOOO. I WANT SOME EXTRA CASH FOR THE HOLIDAYS :crap

Yes, that is considered employment history. That's a good sign that you're a hard worker (if the person who interviews you knows what she's looking for).

Just remember to right down all your duties and what your reponsabilities are. I do resumes by the way if you need help just holla. 🙂 :hithere

Definately put that down girl! It's still Work..it shows your
dedicated to doing something prosper w/yourself..and taking
the initiative to be in control! Anything you do that is positive
will make you look good in any resume or appl. 😉

If you have the energy go for it. Bring it. You can do it, but remember if you feel too stressed then take the time for you, cause it'll happen. In the mean time :yeey bring it. Go get that $$$$$$$ it'll come in handy, plus next time you apply for another job they'll see that you ARE hard worker.!!!!!!

:nono that can get you in trouble. You just have to learn to re-phrase your experiences:
example: Instead of just writing down Cashier you could write all your duties like this " Handling all types of daily business transactions, cash and/or credit. Keeping logs of all transactions on a daily basis, daily customer service."

In stead of writing: Arranging store displays: You could write: "Responsible for the creative work of arranging window displays." Just writing things in a pretty way.

This is just my opinion and my style of writing, I'm sure you could do better, you know your skills.
