Good Morning All!

I woke up this morning with one thing on my mind...
I am looking for the movie "An East Side Story".
I recall it being featured on "Latin Connection"..back in 87'.
They had a whole piece on it..interviews with a very curly hair-ed MArc Anthony. Chrissy Ieece. Safire.

Was this movie ever completed?
Released straight to video?
If so where can I find it?

Yes, but it was quickly discontinued and is ultra rare. There are also stories that the film was never released due to the arrest of the films producer who was involved in some type of gang.

I have it on vhs. the quality is good but you can still watch it and hear it well. I got it from a friend in the industry back in 98.

there were copies from Portugal on ebay some time back with subtitles.

I got it on dvd. But mine has subtitles which is alright would be nice to know if there is a program that really gets rid of subtitles as from my understanding there burned in. There not a seperate file which sucks.
 
i was able to order from some company that specializes in hard to find videos, it also had subtitles, i believe in french.

the movie is pretty bad, but still a lot of fun to watch. If you have a few dollars burning a hole in your pocket and don't mind spending it, i recommend you get it.

the link should be still there, unless someone deleted it. its quite possible it was taken down because #1, it was an illegal bootleg and #2, there are people in the film that do not want it circulating because of the terrible acting in it, and they think it will ruin thier careers. but I'll look for it. it should still be around.
 
I have it on dvd but there are portuguese subtitles and im trying to find a way of removing them cause hitting the subtitle button on the dvd remote doesnt remove them cause there hard coded subtitles meaning there programmed inside.
