In NYC handling my biz!!!!
My husband and I have a lot of DVDS. We have practically every movie that comes out. I don't buy anymore since I've lost my job but he keeps it going. He'll keep buying new releases. I've mentioned to him that maybe we can sell some or give away and he says I'm crazy! Even though we don't watch the movies anymore, he still can't part with any of them. The only DVD's that I have seen him run over and over and over again are the Steven Segal movies, like "Above the Law".

Anybody else collects DVD's and refuses to part with any of them? I mean, I like to make room for new things. 🙂
 
lately ive lost my mind buying dvds..especially now that i know you can buy them pre viewed at blockbuster for ten bucks..new releases!! my next toy to go along is a nice big flat plasma screen..cant wait..ill never go anywhere one i get that bad boy...🙂

Oh I hear you with the Plasma! I want one but realistically we can't get one right now. I'm satisfied with my 36" right now! I can see everything clearly! lol............lol.........

But yes that Plasma will be your new toy! Enjoy it. 😉

House of a thousand Corpses! OH MY GOOOOD! Yes the movie is sorry! I watched it all confused and saying to myself, "do I like it or not?" And I honestly don't know. It's just a deranged movie! PSYCHOTIC! :confused
 
i have a few dvds most of them are Jay and silent bob ones lol and all the fridays the football movie called rudy and some others i forget lol i have not watched them in a while i got 8 mile to.
 
I think I have about 300+ dvds in my collection :cool

I guess its a luxury to have hanged on the wall but truth is Plasma TVs are not worth buying. The technology is not yet finalized. Once those pixels burn out in few time span (Plasmas are made of gas)...you in deep poo. Also...Plasma TVs cannot display deep black. They display dark grey.

I am an avid collector of DVD's I have many horror ones, and vamp movies..lolol I also have a few that I run over andover"Queen of the Damned", Interview with a Vampire" "Braveheart" and "Pretty Woman" mostly..lolol I will be adding "Scarface" to my collection on the 26th of this month(I preordered it), and Nemo next month😉
 
NAYA-- Finding Nemo is MINE the day it comes out..can't wait, I had my son's b-day theme of Finding Nemo..that nemo is just so CUTE..

I love the fact that almost eveything is coming out on DVD.So I can purchase my favorite
T.V. shows
Horror films
Freestyle
Special intrests etc..
And all my favorie films growing up(Beat Street,Breakin,Pretty in Pink,ec..I have learned to buy and keep items that I am goig to watch over and over.The best thing to do is
1.Have a list of the Dvds that you really want to buy
2.Than look at the list and see if you want or is it worth your hard earned money
3.As you do that,your list will get smaller and you willtruly enjoy theitms you buy(I know I do like Freestyle,Horror films,Movies that I loved as a kid and still love know,movies with my favorite actors like Jennifer Lopez etc..aannd my all time favorite T.V. shows like twin Peaks and robotech.
It just comes down to whats important to you!
