Again, this is a free country, & you are free to study & take up any Language you want, ....if you don't speak it, don't complain, & definately don't think ur so important as a random customer that you'll think their talking about you.

I had a similar issue once, & I told the 2 persons, "First of all, the "Spanish Language" ain't no big kept secret, ...if you guys didn't take it in Jr High or High school, don't complain to me about it." 🙂
 
Shoot, I have white friends who came straight outta Germany, not knowing any English, & speak fluent Puerto Rican Spanish by jus spending sometime with Latino's in NYC. & Now English as well. If u heard them speak Spanish, you'd think they were straight up Boricua's. No foreign accent whatsoever.

This past weekend, I went out to dinner after the Diamante show with LaIndia, Jazzy4U, Edalgiere, Henny Luv, Louis, MyOnlySweetie.

Occasionally, the convo slipped into Spanish.

I was quite comfortable, even though I KNEW that everyone was talking about Ed and me.
