Hi there...

I need some information about the original DTU releases (on Tripodi Records). Is it possible to get these records somehow? Does anybody know who are the people behind this project?!

The people behind the project were Anthony Ponzio an Anthony Santosusso (a.k.a. DTU) who basically wrote and sang their own material....as well as Robert Federici and Micheal Fortuna who were the engineers. Jerry Tripodi owned the label it was distributed on. My Broken Heart, Open Your Eyes and Broken Dreams came out in 91' on Tripodi Records. My Broken Heart 94' came out in 94', which was a duet with DTU and Pure Pleasure, which came out on Tazmania Records. Look Into My Eyes came out in 95' on Tazmania Records. Finally, Open My Eyes 97' came out in 97' on Tazmania records. Hope this helps. 🙂
 
Anthony - You forgot to mention the 3rd and least known member of DTU - Johnny Genovese...You can credit him for music on DTU's Tripodi releases...

DTU also has an unreleased slow jam titled "THREW IT ALL AWAY" that was recorded in 1991 as well.

Nah - DTU only recorded a handful of songs...There is no DTU CD (unless you make one yourself)...Ponzio once told me that DTU was put on the back burner so they could concentrate on producing their artists on Taz...

7. "OPEN YOUR EYES '97" (1997 Tazmania Records)
 
Would you guys know who of them three sings in each song? I've noticed that the same guy sings Broken Dreams and Open your eyes, but it seems to me that "Look into my eyes" was sung by the other two. Correct me if I'm wrong but It seems that the same guy that sings the second part on "Look into my eyes" ( I've tried to get it through to you in every way that I could what more can I do...) is the one who sings San-ta Vez - "Dark of night". Do you guys know?
 
"DARK OF NIGHT" is sung by Anthony Santosusso (same guy that sang "ALL I WANT" on Taz 3)...The vocals on all of DTU's songs were performed by Anthony Ponzio and Anthony Santosusso. DTU's original 3rd member, Johnny Genovese, played keyboards

Does anybody know what these people are doing now, since the end of Tazmania?! Are they still making music...? I don´t think so, am I right?
I can´t believe that almost every former Tazmania member (producers and artists) has left the business. 🙁
 
After the disappointing sales of Tazmania's final compilation - THE NEW SERIES: LEVEL A, yes, they decided to retire from the music business...Mike Ferullo did record some house tracks but I don't know if they were released.
