OK, the post where the indivisual was looking for a DTU song, well it got me thinking.DTU's "MY Broken Heart", good song, but I also heard the song performed by a diffrent artist on a mix by Joe "Naughty Boy" Nardi, it think the mix-tape was named "Heart-Attack", those of you from Chicago might rememeber the tape, It was from either 1994, or 95.It was pretty good.Well, I was wondering who was the singer who also performed "My Broken Heart", and did he cover DTU, or did DTU cover him.

THE ORIGIAL CAME OUT IN 1991 AND WAS BY DTU THEN IN 1994 A REMIX OF IT WAS DONE BY DTU WITH BACKROUND VOCALS BY MYKL ASTORGA FROM PURE PLEASURE, AS FAR AS THE COVER YOUR TALKING ABOUT, IVE NEVER HEARD OF IT. BUT YES THE ORIGINAL WAS DONE BY DTU ON TRIPODI RECORDS

Well, the thing is their 2 completetly diffrent versions, I know the singers are not the same, I have the 1994 remix, and a piece of the other version.I assumed one was a cover, but I guess they are both DTU releases with diffrent singers on lead vocals.Thanks.

There are only 2 versions of "MY BROKEN HEART" by D.T.U. (Doin' The Ultimate) - The original 1991 Tripodi Records version and the 1993 REMAKE (it's not a remix, it's a remake) which was featured on the first Tazmania Records compilation and released as a single in 1994 (on Tazmania/Hot). The '93 version features background/additional vocals by Mykl Astorga of Pure Pleazure.

Anthony Ponzio sings the lead vocals on both the original and '93 remake, but sounds different on both tracks. The addition of Mykl Astorga also helps to make it sound like someone else is singing, since his voclas can be heard throughout most of the song.

Hey thanks Ehoq for clearing that uopfor me, you obviously know your stuff.I actually like the original better then the remake.I'm going to try and find it on 12 inch possibly.
